Added support in the arch of the foot is noticeable but not too much and is comfortable for all day wear. Fit is true to size as far a Nike running goes. Standard width was roomy and provide me ample toe box room. Upper is lightweight and breathable. Outsole has good traction and did not experience any traction issues running outdoors or on the treadmill.

When asked his opinion on the negatives of the shoes he said he couldn ’ t think of any but his top 2 positives about the shoe were fit and comfort. When it came to the fit he said that the shoes fit like a glove they weren ’ t too loose and they weren ’ t too tight and he stated that they didn ’ t adjust over time as well like some shoes do, they stayed at the perfect fit. He also said that he really likes where the shoe falls on the ankle because it ’s not too high where you feel constricted and not too low where it rubs against the bone. He can wear these shoes all day and stay comfortable in them, they have the right amount of cushion and bounce without feeling like you are walking on a board. My husband now wears these shoes every day outside of work.

But once the foot is in the shoe the looks don ’ t matter. The shoe fits true to size and holds the foot like Goldilocks…not too tight, not too loose…just right. The cushion was noticeably significant as the shock absorption on strike was well received and eliminated prevailing joint pain through the leg. That being said, the insole of this shoe is geared more towards a rear mid/heel striker. I also tested this shoe in cross training with a combo HIIT, functional strength training, spring workout and the shoe performed well. It is now my favorite cross training shoe. I would suggest flat laces that hold up to vigorous training and a larger pull loop on the back of the heel for convenience. Overall, 9/10.

The toe box is constructed wide which I feel is a must have for babies and toddlers to allow for ample room for the toes and forefoot, while breathable material surrounds and secures the heel in place. The shoe appears to have laces, but they are elastic and fixed in place, which helps keep a snug fit over the top of the foot. Weighing in at just 53g per shoe, this is one of the lightest all around, general purpose shoes we have for our active child. Fit: Fit is true to size, but may also depend on the type of socks being used. We were able to use regular socks with no issue, but if you prefer padded socks, a size up may be a better option. The insole has a lot of cushion and the recycled material of the outsole has some flexibility, so our little one was just fine with regular socks throughout the day with seemingly no discomfort or fatigue. Quality: For a shoe that has integrated recycled materials into the construction, the shoes have held up quite well over the few weeks of use we ’ ve had it. Unfortunately, the outsole rubber in the Structure 26 is already showing some wear although it has good traction. The tongue could be a bit slimmer, but I 'm being nitpicky here. All in all, I love it and I got many compliments about its aesthetics. It's true to size, comfortable and has extra support and stability.

[ I got these in a size 7 in women ’s for 1 of 2 people that I knew could give me an honest opinion on them. It happened to be my mother who I gifted them to that works in a plant on her feet 8- 10 hours a day. As soon as she opened the box she absolutely loved the colorway she got as it can match multiple things as well as the style/look of the shoe. Once she got the shoe on foot she walked around the house and said she felt more bounce and spring in her step wearing them. The tongue and color have lots of padding which I am not used to but I consider them a plus. The mesh fabric is breathable and of very high quality. The fit is just right, true to size, snug enough to feel supportive and is becoming more comfortable with every use. I found the Nike Structure 26 to be more comfortable and natural than other running shoes that I own. Unfortunately, the outsole rubber in the Structure 26 is already showing some wear although it has good traction. The tongue could be a bit slimmer, but I 'm being nitpicky here. All in all, I love it and I got many compliments about its aesthetics. It's true to size, comfortable and has extra support and stability.

I am not a runner and wear shoes on a casual basis, but I could see that there is a lot of shock absorption. I used my first pair of Vomeros last year where the second half of the Hennepin 100. This is a truly outstanding shoe, as plus as they come. Ended up using these for a summer of relatively high mileage training.( 50- 80 miles/week) and I found that they were forgiving enough to keep me going mile after a mile. Compared to my other shoes, and I typically use Brooks Hyperion Max 2s, I found it the neutral and plus right of these issues made up for their relative heft. I thought at first that their overall somewhat bulky size was going to be a problem, but it really wasn ’ t at all. Quite the contrary, I was able to run much further in these than it was in the much snappier Hyperions. I will note that the sole of this shoe is relatively minimalist and does not hold up particularly well to the high miles, but on road and path surfaces this was a non- issue. See images. I don ’ t bring this up as a knock against the shoe, but worth mentioning. I believe that the newer version has the option of an upgraded sole, which I would recommend assuming they are more bomber than the original sole.

[ The Nike ACG Zegama were an exciting pair of sneakers to test. I am longtime fan of the ACG collection, mainly for it's forward and functional design. These trail sneakers embody both of those fully. I wore these on the trail routes near my home and they full adapted to the uneven and sometimes slippery terrain. I 've worn them on dry runs and just after rainfall, and the footprint/sole of this sneaker felt like it grasped the earth well in both circumstances. The elastic ankle detail hugged my foot just enough for added stabilization. I could really feel the vibram sole and full cushioning which I prefer when trail running. I appreciated the non slip grip the laces had on the upper, they felt secure the duration of each run. But my main takeaway was the width of the sole at the ball of the foot. It really felt different compared to other sneakers I run on trail with. This felt like when my foot stuck the ground, it was fully connecting, giving me more confidence and security with each step. The shoe was comfortable and responsive all around.

Compared to most hiking shoes, the traction on the bottom feels much lighter, which made it easier to pick up speed and do short runs comfortably. One of my favorite features was the ankle portion because it fits almost like a sock and feels secure without rubbing. What I liked most was how easy it felt to move in them. I was able to comfortably pick up my feet and transition into short uphill runs without feeling weighed down like traditional hiking shoes. Honestly, I wouldn ’ t change anything about the shoe. Even though it ’s not labeled as a wide shoe, it still worked well for my feet and provided solid arch support. My only recommendation would be to wear high socks and avoid wearing them barefoot. I made the mistake of doing a 2- mile uphill run without socks and ended up with blisters, so good socks definitely make a difference.

[ This is my second pair of Trail Pegasus, and I like it more than the first one:) The Pegasus are a staple for any running enthusiast, but I had n't worn a pair of trail shoes until recently, and I 'm sold. The sole has a lot more grip, which makes these shoes truly `` all- terrain '', both for trail runs but also for every day walks. On top of that, these shoes include Gore- Tex material, making them water resistant( no more excuses not to go for a run in light rain!). They are as comfy as their non- trail Pegasus counterparts, and they have a very similar fit. This color combination has quickly become a favorite for their versatility.
