This shoe has completely revived my running and is the best shoe I have ever worn. I 've been a distance runner since 1984 and wore Pegs for much of my life. Switched to Zoom Fly when the first edition came out. The 6 is an absolute game changer. First run out of the box ran about: 30/mile faster than my usual slog without trying to do so. My HR is commensurately higher, but my legs and body feel much easier. Just a tremendous shoe for forefoot or midfoot strikers- would not recommend for heel strikers. I am older and much slower than I used to be but I am enjoying runs more than I have in years.

For a highly active high school student who spends a lot of time on their feet, these Pegasus 41's are incredible. I originally had worries about them becoming soft, like my shoes from last year, but they are still( comfortably) firm. I have the Pegasus LV8, not the white ones, and they do get a lot of compliments and they are also very hard to lose, but I think that may be partial to the LV8 in the hard to lose point( LV8 are the bright yellow). First putting on the Nike Pegasus Plus they were tight a bit& I was nervous out working out in them. But once I go to my first exercise they begin to feel like my feet were in a controlled comfort state. They were very light and gave enough support to help with all workouts. I haven ’ t done my long walk in them but I plan to use them for a ADA walk. They seem very durable and definitely are perfect for a job of standing for 4 plus hours. [ Both of our daughters play competitive softball. My youngest( 8) has been wearing these shoes for agility training and batting practice in the cages, where cleats are not worn. They have been spectacular! She loves that they are light as a feather and have lots of cushioning. The colors are vibrant. The fabric is light and breathable. If she could have designed a shoe on her own, it would have looked like this. Her favorite aspect of these shoes is the way they feel — springy and comfortable. These shoes are very supportive. When he put them on he said it felt like he was walking on clouds. My son liked the design of the shoe however the yellow/orange/pink combo definitely leans more pink. The fabric is breathable and almost socklike so they wash well but never back to the original gleaming white. My son loved the overall feel of shoe while he was running, jumping and playing. [ I run 40- 50 miles per week and have a large rotation of running shoes to support that. I was excited to try out the Nike Vomero 18s! These shoes are comfortable for easy miles but lightweight and responsive enough to pick up the pace as well. They have a little bit of bounce, but they are not too soft, which I appreciate- my preference for shoes is a bit on the firmer end; I do n't like a big squishy marshmallow. I found them to work well both for outdoor runs as well as on the treadmill. Plus they look great, which is always an added bonus and another reason to reach for these shoes while lacing up! I 'll definitely look forward to running in these Vomeros as I rack up the miles training for my next half marathon.

[ Starting with the good. These look great. Dont have a high heel rise so they dont put your feet in a weird angle. Actually good running shoes but also good for day to day stuff and lifting due to a better sturdiness in the base. The fit is snug buy not to the point of cutting off circulation. Also doesnt feel like you 've suffocated your foot all day when you 're done wearing them. Nice spring to them as well. The only drawback is the inner heel was odd at first and took about a wear or two to adjust and not feel like it was loose/scraping the heel.

I needed some hiking shoes to hike North Cascades National Park in Seattle. Never had hiking shoes before, but hated that they looked so clunky. I saw that trail running shoes work well for hikes as well and allow your feet to stay flexible. I saw these for sale and gave it a try. Wow. It genuinely provided so much support for hiking and light jogging. I hiked through brush, rocks, gravel, tree roots, grass, and other terrains. I did n't slip a single time and the shoes really cushioned each step. Safe to say, I would have been doomed with regular running shoes. After hiking a few days, the shoes still looked new! They were a bit dusty from the trail itself, though. Treads on the bottom looked new, did n't see any scratches or gouges, laces were not frayed. I got the Gore- Tex variant, so at the end of the hike, I walked into the shallow end of a lake and wiped them off, no water got in. I half- sized up. My regular shoe size is a 9, but I went 9. 5 because I wore thicker socks and appreciate the toe room during hiking as I do n't want my toes banging the front of the shoe. Feet also swell when hiking. All in all, I hiked around 20 miles on this trip as well as walking around city areas, so probably closer to 30 miles. I had no issues whatsoever and would recommend them. If Nike wants to sponsor me for this review, I 'm all ears because they 've won me over with these purposeful shoes.

[ My first initial thought once getting the Nike ReactX Pegasus Trail 5 out of the box was the sleek yet stand out design and ALL THAT FOAM. Once getting it on feet it felt as comfortable and welcoming as putting a glove on. This shoe is meant for hiking in mind however it is also just a great overall everyday shoe. Going to to the store, going on a walk at my local dog park or even just a nice change of shoes from my normal Jordan ’s or Dunk lows! The shoe feels well put together overall. At first glance the carbon fiber- esque overlay on the inside middle of the shoe doesn ’ t seem like it would do much but as someone who has wider feet naturally it helped keep my foot compressed and on the bed of the shoe where it should be. As well as keeping the shape of the shoe the same for more wears and longer life span for the shoe. I would have to say my only gripe is the back tabs loop used to more comfortably put on the seems flimsy at first and I did refrain from using it in the worries of ripping or damaging the back. Maybe a thicker loop or removal of the strap for other features or design would be my suggestion. Overrall however I feel extremely fortunate I was able to wear these shoes first hand and try them on. It ’ ll definitely be my contender when it comes to any future hiking, trail or everyday shoe!

On my run at the beach, there were some puddles and the fabric held up well. I used them at the gym as well and during my workouts they held their own. The shoe overall impressed me as it provide comfort and support. The color accents and materials were great and they have held up to my runs and workouts. I would maybe make them all black or make the sole a bit darker. Overall, it is a great shoe

The materials on the shoe are by far the best aspect of it. Immediately put them to the test with a 5k run under the rain. The shoe had no issues during the run and my feet stayed dry thanks to the Gore Tex technology. The material is reinforced in areas of high wear which promotes longevity. What did you like most? What would you change? Overall what I liked the most is that the shoe is a great all around performer. Materials are great for outdoor running, the traction grips well and it has a strong rubber that ensures durability. Further, the midsole and the cushion technology make it a comfortable ride whether it ’s for a walk or an outdoor run. Lastly, the shoe can be used casually due to its design and I don ’ t have to worry about any discomfort. The only thing I would change about the shoe are the laces, they run a bit short and I ’ d prefer them to be a little thicker to battle the outdoors.

Water droplets just roll off the shoe right away after I stepped into a water puddle, which is perfect for me caused I ran on trails a lot. The shoe fits a bit snug right out of the box, but once you wear them in, they fit one to one. I would recommend go true to size for these!
