This shoe has completely revived my running and is the best shoe I have ever worn. I 've been a distance runner since 1984 and wore Pegs for much of my life. Switched to Zoom Fly when the first edition came out. The 6 is an absolute game changer. First run out of the box ran about: 30/mile faster than my usual slog without trying to do so. My HR is commensurately higher, but my legs and body feel much easier. Just a tremendous shoe for forefoot or midfoot strikers- would not recommend for heel strikers. I am older and much slower than I used to be but I am enjoying runs more than I have in years.

[ Straight out of the box, the Nike Structure 26 has that wow factor. While its fun bright color is aesthetically pleasing and exciting to wear, it also helps during low light visibility conditions due to its Hyper Pink color and reflective areas on its sides. I am currently wearing it for daily activities, walks, hikes with my family and occasional runs. The underfoot has just the right amount of sink- in softness and rebounds smoothly. It is plush, stable, supportive, offers cushioning and is particularly comfortable. For this reason, I used it on recovery days as the breaking- in phase. The tongue and color have lots of padding which I am not used to but I consider them a plus. The mesh fabric is breathable and of very high quality. The fit is just right, true to size, snug enough to feel supportive and is becoming more comfortable with every use. I found the Nike Structure 26 to be more comfortable and natural than other running shoes that I own. Unfortunately, the outsole rubber in the Structure 26 is already showing some wear although it has good traction. The tongue could be a bit slimmer, but I 'm being nitpicky here. All in all, I love it and I got many compliments about its aesthetics. It's true to size, comfortable and has extra support and stability.

For a highly active high school student who spends a lot of time on their feet, these Pegasus 41's are incredible. I originally had worries about them becoming soft, like my shoes from last year, but they are still( comfortably) firm. I have the Pegasus LV8, not the white ones, and they do get a lot of compliments and they are also very hard to lose, but I think that may be partial to the LV8 in the hard to lose point( LV8 are the bright yellow). I used my first pair of Vomeros last year where the second half of the Hennepin 100. This is a truly outstanding shoe, as plus as they come. Ended up using these for a summer of relatively high mileage training.( 50- 80 miles/week) and I found that they were forgiving enough to keep me going mile after a mile. Compared to my other shoes, and I typically use Brooks Hyperion Max 2s, I found it the neutral and plus right of these issues made up for their relative heft. I thought at first that their overall somewhat bulky size was going to be a problem, but it really wasn ’ t at all. Quite the contrary, I was able to run much further in these than it was in the much snappier Hyperions. I will note that the sole of this shoe is relatively minimalist and does not hold up particularly well to the high miles, but on road and path surfaces this was a non- issue. See images. I don ’ t bring this up as a knock against the shoe, but worth mentioning. I believe that the newer version has the option of an upgraded sole, which I would recommend assuming they are more bomber than the original sole.

[ Both of our daughters play competitive softball. My youngest( 8) has been wearing these shoes for agility training and batting practice in the cages, where cleats are not worn. They have been spectacular! She loves that they are light as a feather and have lots of cushioning. The colors are vibrant. The fabric is light and breathable. [ I run 40- 50 miles per week and have a large rotation of running shoes to support that. I was excited to try out the Nike Vomero 18s! These shoes are comfortable for easy miles but lightweight and responsive enough to pick up the pace as well. They have a little bit of bounce, but they are not too soft, which I appreciate- my preference for shoes is a bit on the firmer end; I do n't like a big squishy marshmallow. I found them to work well both for outdoor runs as well as on the treadmill. Plus they look great, which is always an added bonus and another reason to reach for these shoes while lacing up! I 'll definitely look forward to running in these Vomeros as I rack up the miles training for my next half marathon.

Best shoes that I ’ ve ever ran in. Shoes have inspired me to run, very comfortable, lots of cushion for landing especially for those stockier runners. Use to have knee problems after running and these are the only pair that have prevented swelling after running at 190 plus pounds on average. I don ’ t have a large running shoe collection but they fell better than the vomero ’s or basic Pegasus that I have worn from Nike in the past. Wow, these may be my favorite training shoes ever. I have worn standard Pegasus for years and always found they lacked a little cushioning. I have raced in Vaporflys but felt that they lacked stability. The Pegasus Premiums seems like the perfect blend of the two, with great springiness and cushioning but also with good stability. Not light, but not too heavy either. Size seems to be true for me, 12 as always. My only complaint is that the show is expensive for a training shoe, hopefully it holds up better than the Vaporflys at this price.

[ Starting with the good. These look great. Dont have a high heel rise so they dont put your feet in a weird angle. Actually good running shoes but also good for day to day stuff and lifting due to a better sturdiness in the base. The fit is snug buy not to the point of cutting off circulation. Also doesnt feel like you 've suffocated your foot all day when you 're done wearing them. Nice spring to them as well. The only drawback is the inner heel was odd at first and took about a wear or two to adjust and not feel like it was loose/scraping the heel.

[ These shoes are everything you would expect and more coming from the higher price tag. For starters, while I did not weigh them, I can confidently tell you that the Pegasus Plus is noticably lighter than the 51. This is likely due to the cushioning setup and the Flyknit upper. With that in mind, the upper is extremely breathable, which prevented me from having a lot of sweat trapped in the shoe after long runs. The tongue was also not a bother to my foot during runs and walks. As for the midsole, the full length Zoom- X foam is extremely bouncy and responsive. While they do not feel quite like carbon plate shoes, they feel tremendously faster than many of my other daily trainers. They make running a 5k much more comfortable and allowed me to shave a few seconds off of my typical time. Even for low intensity walks, the midsole was extremely cushy and made walking effortless. With this squishiness though, the shoes are not the most stable. They are great in that respect for running and walking, but doing plyometric exercises like jumping seemed to highlight some instability. In terms of sizing, the Pegasus Plus fits true to size, although, please note the shoe fits narrower than most neutral shoes I 've used. I by no means have a wide foot, but these shoes fit very snug in the toe box and on the sides. Overall, I am a big fan of this installation of the Nike Pegasus line and I highly recommend them to someone who is looking to pay the extra money for a higher quality, more performance based pair of runners.

I ’ ve only had these shoes for a short time, but so far I ’ m very impressed. I previously wore the Nike Pegasus Trail 4 GORE- TEX and loved them, so I was a little hesitant to try something new. The fit and overall feel are similar enough that the transition has been easy, with no significant break- in period for me. I have high arches, a higher instep, and toes that like room to spread when I walk. I also tend to notice pressure points and fit issues quickly. These shoes provide a nice balance of stability and flexibility without feeling overly rigid or overly cushioned. They feel secure through the midfoot while still allowing natural foot movement, which is important for my walking/running style. For sizing reference, I wore a size 8 in my Pegasus Trail 4 GORE- TEX and chose an 8. 5 in these. I ’ ve experienced no rubbing, hot spots, or heel issues so far, and they ’ ve been comfortable from the first wear. The traction and overall ride feel well suited for walking on a mix of pavement, road shoulders, and uneven terrain. My only wish is that there were more color options available when I ordered. I recently noticed the customization option and would have loved that feature from the start. In fact, I ’ m already considering picking up a second pair as a backup because I like them that much and hope Nike keeps this model around for a long time.

I needed some hiking shoes to hike North Cascades National Park in Seattle. Never had hiking shoes before, but hated that they looked so clunky. I saw that trail running shoes work well for hikes as well and allow your feet to stay flexible. I saw these for sale and gave it a try. Wow. It genuinely provided so much support for hiking and light jogging. I hiked through brush, rocks, gravel, tree roots, grass, and other terrains. I did n't slip a single time and the shoes really cushioned each step. Safe to say, I would have been doomed with regular running shoes. After hiking a few days, the shoes still looked new! They were a bit dusty from the trail itself, though. Treads on the bottom looked new, did n't see any scratches or gouges, laces were not frayed. I got the Gore- Tex variant, so at the end of the hike, I walked into the shallow end of a lake and wiped them off, no water got in. I half- sized up. My regular shoe size is a 9, but I went 9. 5 because I wore thicker socks and appreciate the toe room during hiking as I do n't want my toes banging the front of the shoe. Feet also swell when hiking. All in all, I hiked around 20 miles on this trip as well as walking around city areas, so probably closer to 30 miles. I had no issues whatsoever and would recommend them. If Nike wants to sponsor me for this review, I 'm all ears because they 've won me over with these purposeful shoes.

[ The Nike ACG Zegama were an exciting pair of sneakers to test. I am longtime fan of the ACG collection, mainly for it's forward and functional design. These trail sneakers embody both of those fully. I wore these on the trail routes near my home and they full adapted to the uneven and sometimes slippery terrain. I 've worn them on dry runs and just after rainfall, and the footprint/sole of this sneaker felt like it grasped the earth well in both circumstances. The elastic ankle detail hugged my foot just enough for added stabilization. I could really feel the vibram sole and full cushioning which I prefer when trail running. I appreciated the non slip grip the laces had on the upper, they felt secure the duration of each run. But my main takeaway was the width of the sole at the ball of the foot. It really felt different compared to other sneakers I run on trail with. This felt like when my foot stuck the ground, it was fully connecting, giving me more confidence and security with each step. The shoe was comfortable and responsive all around.

One of my favorite features was the ankle portion because it fits almost like a sock and feels secure without rubbing. What I liked most was how easy it felt to move in them. I was able to comfortably pick up my feet and transition into short uphill runs without feeling weighed down like traditional hiking shoes. Honestly, I wouldn ’ t change anything about the shoe. Even though it ’s not labeled as a wide shoe, it still worked well for my feet and provided solid arch support. My only recommendation would be to wear high socks and avoid wearing them barefoot. I made the mistake of doing a 2- mile uphill run without socks and ended up with blisters, so good socks definitely make a difference.

I am an avid trail hiker and runner. I have completed the AT and the PCT and the South Island of the Te Araroa. The fit, comfort and durability of the Wildhorse shoe are extremely good and the weight is as light as I would want it to be for 30 mile days. A couple suggested improvements would be: 1: a lace band in the lace channel so laces can be tucked, 2) a gaiter clip at the front of tongue to attach a gaiter clip, and 3) a small channel in the middle of the sole for a gaiter bottom strap.

[ My first initial thought once getting the Nike ReactX Pegasus Trail 5 out of the box was the sleek yet stand out design and ALL THAT FOAM. Once getting it on feet it felt as comfortable and welcoming as putting a glove on. This shoe is meant for hiking in mind however it is also just a great overall everyday shoe. Going to to the store, going on a walk at my local dog park or even just a nice change of shoes from my normal Jordan ’s or Dunk lows! The shoe feels well put together overall. At first glance the carbon fiber- esque overlay on the inside middle of the shoe doesn ’ t seem like it would do much but as someone who has wider feet naturally it helped keep my foot compressed and on the bed of the shoe where it should be. As well as keeping the shape of the shoe the same for more wears and longer life span for the shoe. I would have to say my only gripe is the back tabs loop used to more comfortably put on the seems flimsy at first and I did refrain from using it in the worries of ripping or damaging the back. Maybe a thicker loop or removal of the strap for other features or design would be my suggestion. Overrall however I feel extremely fortunate I was able to wear these shoes first hand and try them on. It ’ ll definitely be my contender when it comes to any future hiking, trail or everyday shoe!
