It will fit 7. Side pockets are small. Yet this is intended to be a light bag. I play with 4/5 clubs and a putter. I can fit extra balls, tees, my iPhone, 2 beers.... and walk 9 holes comfortably.

Excellent material and easy to place on cart. We were quite warm with a propane heater in 30 and 40 degree weather. The hard part is fitting back in the carry bag. We decided to purchase a duffel.
