Over all I love these boots, light, easy on and off, great grip with stud, and they have help up well. My only criticism is the web shoe lace eyes seen to be a little light. They have started to fray a little and one of them has torn through. I would have given a 4 1/2 but couldn ’ t, they are still a great boot.

Fantastic wading boots! Lightweight and low profile provides good ankle support and dexterity while boulder hopping compared to a high profile boot. I spend more time on foot than in the boat so I was after a boot that would be durable and sturdy across land as much as in the water. The M's Flyweight are performing well in this regard. The sole is remarkably `` sticky '' so far and inspires a lot of confidence in stability. I ca n't imagine what they 'd be like with cleats! They are a boot so they do have a bit of heft to them, but relative to other boots I have used these are pretty light.

I 've been using Hardbites for years and I 've never lost even one. I 've read reviews and noticed some folks that have lost them, and I think I know why. You 're over tightening them and stripping the threads you cut in the rubber. Just tighten them until the screw head just touches the countersink. Then just snug them up. The rubber acts like the spring on a needle valve and holds the screw. I just check mine occasionally.

Dec 2023 on the Mo. Too windy for my poor fly fishing skills, so I was helping youngest with egg sacs. Boots are awesome. Follow the Simms sizing. I 'm a 9 in street shoes and ordered 10s. Run with wool socks and heated socks on top and still have a little room. I had a cheap K brand boot before and these are so much better. So much more support and structure. Especially if you have a hike to get to your spot. So glad I got these on sale. If they have your size, just buy them.
