I use these with EU Men 46 Alfa Outback and EU M 48 Alfa Polar boots. Great fit and no need to bring and change into mountaineering boots on glacier crossings. I used them recently on a Vatnajokull traverse with strap on BD crampons, perfect fit and no problems.

[ If you have larger than size 10. 5 snowboard boots, these are crucial for making your crampons fit properly. I have BD contact strap crampons and size 11 Thirtytwo Jones XLT splitboard boots and these make the crampons fit perfectly, the stock bars are a little too short.

[ I bought these as a cheap alternative to a lattice training rung, which I didn ’ t have room for underneath my BM 2000. They are 1mm thinner than a standard lattice rung but they work great for hangs etc.
