After spending two hours doing a fitting, I thought I 'd settled on what was working best for me. Then I tried this set, and it played as well as the best I 'd been playing with for a fraction of the cost. Every club was a winner, and I feel so great about this purchase after having the opportunity to play them in store.

After contemplating getting fit for some very popular and expensive irons I decided to go with a full setup with bag, irons, woods and a rescue. I 'm a little unsure of the 6 iron being my longest iron. As a newly admitted `` senior '' linkster, I 'm being careful of investing too much before I revamp my game. So far, so good. I 've only been to the simulators but these irons are quite forgiving, the driver and fairway woods are solid. As of now I highly recommend this set. Very stylish as well. Clean and smart. Looking forward to this season and where it will lead.

After using hand me down clubs and clubs purchased off marketplace I decided I wanted to invest in new clubs. Being a weekend golfer I wanted some clubs that looked good and feel good without totally breaking the bank. I ’ m very satisfied with this set. They look great. Forgiving irons. Putter has a nice feel. Should last me for some time until I ’ m ready to upgrade.

Blade irons are known for their precision and control, making them a popular choice among skilled golfers. They typically feature a smaller clubhead and a thinner profile, which allows for better feedback on ball striking. This design can enhance shot shaping capabilities, giving players more confidence in their ability to execute specific shots.
Blade irons and cavity back irons differ primarily in their design and intended use. Blade irons have a more compact shape and are designed for better players who prioritize control and feel, while cavity back irons have a larger clubhead with a more forgiving design, making them suitable for a wider range of skill levels. The choice between the two often depends on a golfer's skill level and playing style.
Blade irons are typically made from high-quality materials such as carbon steel or stainless steel, which contribute to their durability and performance. Carbon steel is favored for its soft feel and ability to provide excellent feedback, while stainless steel offers increased resistance to corrosion. The choice of material can impact the overall playability and feel of the irons.
When selecting blade irons, consider your skill level, swing style, and personal preferences. Blade irons are best suited for players with a consistent swing who can handle the precision required for effective use. Additionally, think about the loft and lie angles that best match your game, as well as any custom fitting options that may enhance performance.
Blade irons are generally not recommended for beginners due to their smaller sweet spot and the precision required for effective use. Newer golfers may benefit more from cavity back irons, which offer greater forgiveness and help improve confidence. However, as a player's skills develop, they may choose to transition to blade irons for enhanced control and shot shaping.
