[ My husband and I just took these chairs on a five day canoe trip. They easily strapped under the stern seat for long portages and were balanced easily with a stuff sack under the bow seat. They set up in about a minute once you get used to the process and are so comfortable. If it was colder I would line the ventilated seats and backs with a blanket. They are tippy until you get used to them but it ’s not a big deal since you ’ re so close to the ground; also, all lightweight camp chairs are tippy. Too big to bring backpacking( don ’ t pack down small enough for a backpack) but definitely the right chair for a canoe trip!

I ordered some different rocking chairs last week and tried them. First I preferred one bigger, wider and higher than the Nemo. I thought it would be easier for a tall person to get in/out. Strangely I found myself always using the Nemo b e c a us e its low …. it makes me feel secure and grounded. Usually I can not be high enough above the ground. But in the higher chairs( over 50cm) you need a foot/legrest to be comfortable. The Nemo works well without, even though it would be nice to have this option. The only small complain I have is, the fabric starts to wrinkle a bit in your lower back when going in stargazer- position. But all in all its a wonderful well engineered rocking chair with hammockfeel. I ‘ m immediately at peace when taking a seat in my Nemo. So I just ordered two more as birthday- presents, cause every loved one should experience this feeling.

Wife loves the Adirondack, and this one does not disappoint. We bought two! Assembly is a little challenging unless you have a good( and proper sized) Allen wrench bit. The final two steps are the hardest. The pre- drilled holes for the screws are not aligned. Alignment requires an extra set of hands to pull the armrests very hard to get the holes in place. Need to alternate between the final and next to final steps.

The GCI Outdoor Roadtrip Rocker is an excellent chair that sits on the fence between an `` A '' or a `` B ''. Just a couple extra credit assignments and it firmly passes with straight A's. This chair is very comfortable and does a surprisingly good job as a rocking chair. The back is tall enough to lean back and feel supported. It is wide enough be bundled up in blankets and still have room. There are two things I 'd like have changed slightly. I bought two of these and keep thinking about buying more. I use this chair most frequently at dispersed campgrounds where I want to be able to quickly take items in while I 'm away from the site. I got a second one because it's so compact and easy to have on hand for friends who do n't have as much camping gear. More often than not, I 'm wishing that I had another one or two because people always seem to underestimate how nice it is to bring chairs camping and they co- opt my seat when I get up. Several friends have bought this chair after using my extra one. The convenience factor really grows on people by the second time we camp together. They want their own to toss in their camping gear bins. You do n't have to remember about packing a more luxurious chair that does n't even fit in the bin and then it taking up more space in the trunk. It's not the most cushioned chair in the world, but its still a good one to add to the arsenal. The points to attach the seat to the frame are very stiff for the first dozen or so uses, but it gets more pliable in time without becoming so pliable that it's concerning.

Another great bonus is that there is a storage pouch on the back of the chair which is removable by unzipping it from the chair if you need to take your belongings with you when if you decide to explore. [ I ’ ve now had this chair for several months and have used it quite a bit. It folds down nice and compact and is high quality in its construction. It is very comfortable and typically is the first chair taken for a seat at camp. I didn ’ t realize how much I love having a higher back to my chair! It does take more time to assemble than a standard folding camp chair. The trade off of longer set up time( maybe 60 seconds more) is well worth the compactness when broken down, lightweight, quality of build, and over all comfort.

[ This is the most comfortable camp chair I ’ ve ever sat in! The seat and back are nicely padded for optimal comfort. The arm rests are adjustable with a cord in the back and the cup holder even have little holes in the bottom so if you spill a drink in them you don ’ t have to worry about it standing and growing mold. The back has 3 levels of recline which are easily adjusted by pulling out the pin and sliding the bar upwards. Another great bonus is that there is a storage pouch on the back of the chair which is removable by unzipping it from the chair if you need to take your belongings with you when if you decide to explore. I can not wait for my next camping trip but I foresee having to fight off the rest of my family for who gets to sit in this chair! I can ’ t stress enough how incredibly comfortable it is!

This chair is made of high quality material, and the stitching and finishing is fantastic. It has nice padding, and the tubes are very sturdy. It is a bit heavy, which is understandable since it is large. My husband says it is not heavy at all. He really loves it too. I highly recommended this chair for camping, travel, and it ’s even cute on my patio.
