I 'm a truck driver that pulls tankers and I have to unload the tanker myself so that means pulling hoses and standing outside with the truck trailer for 2 to 4 hours. So far the coldest it's been but I 've unloaded it's about 13 ° and they have done really well so far. The thumb and index finger probably get the warmest, but overall the whole hand is pretty warm. It's very important. I think to turn them on in the truck first and let him get warm then go outside with them and they maintain very well. I 've always had issues with cold hands while skiing. My best pair are the 3 finger Hestra glove which until i bought these, were my go to warm gloves. Even with the Hestra gloves, my fingers would get cold below 15°. Recently we were planning a ski trip and the forcast temps were to be a high of 0° and i knew my other gloves would not be sufficient, so i decided to purchase the Action heat gloves. I was very happy, with the sub 0° temps, my hands stayed warm. With those temps, I did keep them on the high setting knowing that I had also purchased a 2nd set of batteries which I 'm glad i did. My hands always go numb from the cold below 15 degrees. I ’ ve tried top tier mittens and wool liners to no avail. With these mittens I skied all day at 10 degrees and two breaks and kept my hands warm. I used medium and low settings most of the time and still had half the battery left at the end of the day. [ I bought these gloves at the height of winter and I have not looked back. They are extremely warm and keep your hands dry in every condition. They especially shined when it came to winter sports because any contact with the snow would previously give me wet, cold hands. There is no such thing with these with the combination of GoreTex and with the cuffs going up so high on my arm and being adjustable, wet hands and arms are a thing of the past. There are a number of handy features as well with finger holds on the outside of ring fingers make the gloves easy to remove even while gloved. The retention cuffs do their job well. I would recommend these for someone looking for a nice pair of gloves that wants to keep their hands warm and dry. They outperform everything else at their price point.

My husband bought this for me as a gift. I ’ ve only worn them once for skiing so far( weather has been too warm this winter), but am in love already! I have Raynauld ’s syndrome which makes my hands super cold all the time. I usually put Hothands packs in my gloves to stay warm but my finger tips still get chilly enough to send me into the lodge for a bit. These heated snow gloves have warning elements that run through each finger. When I started to get cold, I turned the heating element on high for about 5 mins. After a couple of runs, I was plenty warm& turned them off all together. It wasn ’ t a super cold day( mid 40 ’s). I was outside for about 6 hours or so& probably only had the battery on for 1/2 hr total( the gloves themselves are nicely insulated). There was enough battery left to charge my phone on the drive home.

I normally get gloves of another brand and while those are great for cold winter weather, the light use gloves I get from them were n't that great so I 'd be on the lookout for another pair and came across these in store.
