I was n't sure how I would feel about a cork grip since I was previously used to a foam grip, but I think there's actually more stability and palm to pole contact with a cork

I want to thank Leki for these great Cressida Cork Lite poles which they provided to me at no cost in fulfillment of a warranty for another pair/different model that had a defect. These poles are sturdy and light and give me confidence on the trail, even on steep inclines or descents. It's very easy to change the length of the poles as needed and I like the women- specific sizing since I am on the petite side and do n't need more pole length than necessary. The cork grip is very comfortable! I was n't sure how I would feel about a cork grip since I was previously used to a foam grip, but I think there's actually more stability and palm to pole contact with a cork grip. I am also not used to aluminum, which is indeed stiffer than carbon, but I think it's worth it to choose aluminum for Leki's great warranty. Leki stands behind its products and I will only buy Leki poles from now on. Thank you!

I purchased my original Leki Cork Lite poles back in 2015, and they survived an entire thru- hike on the Appalachian Trail. If you need a quality trekking pole, I can highly recommend these after using them for thousands of miles on trail! I love the comfort of the cork handles. To top it off, the customer service at Leki is simply the best. They recently went above and beyond to help me replace a part on my older poles.

Great trekking poles- semi light weight and comfortable grips. Good adjustment mechanisms and lock reliably. With other poles I ’ m worried about straining too much backpacking weight and bending them, but I took these up Mt Baker and Mt Rainier( w/ opposing ice axe) and they were sturdy supporting 60+ lbs on my back. I wish they packed down a bit shorter( minimum length) for easier travel, but overall they ’ re great

Very nice poles! Have used them on some big mile days and the grips are superbly comfortable and I really like the minimalist straps. The fit/finish is excellent and no slipping from the locking mechanisms so far. Only issue I can find is that they feel somewhat flexy and do have a slight bit of vibration that you can feel during use as compared to the set of carbon poles I replaced these with. Minor things overall and they don ’ t seem to hinder the poles performance in the slightest. Overall very satisfied and a nice set of poles.

Frankly I was a little skeptical at first whether the price was going to be supported by the value, but I can safely say that this is one of my better gear purchases in a long time. Build quality is exceptional and they have functioned flawlessly for me so far. I would highly recommend.

Not the lightest or the most collapsible poles for sure. I have used these for years because I think they are some of the least likely poles to fail on me in the backcountry and are fairly light. I depend on my poles when climbing, hiking, and camping( trekking pole tent). These poles are also easy to manipulate in the cold, when frozen, and with gloves on.

Literally used these poles for the entirety of the Appalachian Trail. Tips were worn by the end but that's usual for a 2200 mile journey. The fact the price is so good for the durability is great. One downside( and thats just because its carbon fiber) is they can snap easier. Had that happen to me a couple years ago when I crossed a stream, jammed it between rocks and slipped on it. But considering they survived 2200 miles means they are great as long as the user doesnt do something stupid.

I 've had these trekking poles for over 3 years now and they 've performed at the same level as my more expensive poles. I originally got them as a backup to my Black Diamond trekking poles that I 've had for 12+ years as I got tired of having to change out the boots when I alternated from concrete to gravel trail, which is how I use the poles most of the time. In 2021 I took these on a 5 day hiking trip in Olympic National Forest and they were great! The flip lock mechanism makes it very easy to collapse and expand the poles as they went in and out of my daypack. Since then I 've used them seasonally on trips to Colorado or just the local gravel trails when it's not too hot. For the most part I do n't really collapse them- they stay expanded in my garage, ready for use. Another review mentioned these making a noise- I have n't experience that ever. The cork grip is great if you have a smaller hand. My only complaint is on the straps, which there is a limit on how small you can tighten them due to the stitched felt padding.

We hike several times a week and go ~10 miles each time. These poles are never not in my hands. They have saved me from serious injury on several occasions. I have neuropathy in my left leg/foot that causes drop foot. I took a fall going down a cliff and the poles caught on a tree and stopped my fall. I had broken ribs, wrist and thumb, but it would have been worse if I hadn ’ t had the poles. Amazingly, the pole was still working perfectly and I still use today! We decided to purchase an additional set for each of us a couple years ago, and interchange using the sets. Couples we hike with also have Cascade poles, which speaks highly on the quality of the product! We have decided to purchase 2 more sets so we can keep a set for each of us at our 2nd home. In total we will each have 3 sets of poles. Similar poles cost 3- 4 times more, so save your money! Don ’ t hesitate purchasing these trekking poles. You won ’ t regret your decision!

My wife and I have used these for years for hiking. Then two years ago she had a knee replaced and uses one Trekking pole for stability. She is a medical professional and keeps her Trekking pole by her side as she makes her rounds. She has become a poster child for your Trekking poles as many of her patients have asked where she purchased them. They all remark how light they are and how they are able to fold up. Best poles we have ever used. And yes we are still hiking! She now needs to order new “ gym shoe tips ” because she has worn down the tread!

I love these poles. Have had them for 4 years and have abused them from ski slopes to summits of Whitney, Izta, Orizaba& Toluca. I was suspicious of how they 'd hold up to serious abuse, but they 've held up beyond expectations.

Cork grip trekking poles offer excellent moisture-wicking properties, making them comfortable to hold during long hikes. The natural material provides a secure grip, reducing the chances of slipping, especially in wet conditions. Additionally, cork is lightweight and helps to absorb vibrations, which can minimize fatigue on uneven terrain.
Cork grips are often preferred for their comfort and breathability compared to rubber or foam grips. While rubber grips can be more durable, they may not provide the same level of moisture management as cork. Foam grips, on the other hand, can be softer but may wear out faster, making cork a balanced choice for many hikers.
When selecting cork grip trekking poles, consider factors such as weight, adjustability, and the type of terrain you'll be hiking. Look for poles that are lightweight for easier handling, and ensure they have adjustable lengths for versatility on different trails. Additionally, check the locking mechanism for reliability and ease of use.
Yes, cork grip trekking poles are versatile and can be used for various types of hiking, from casual walks to challenging backcountry treks. Their lightweight design and comfortable grip make them suitable for long distances, while their durability ensures they can handle rugged terrain. However, specific features may enhance performance depending on the hiking style.
To maintain cork grip trekking poles, regularly check for any signs of wear or damage, particularly in the grips and locking mechanisms. Wipe down the cork grips with a damp cloth to remove dirt and sweat, and ensure the poles are stored in a dry place to prevent moisture buildup. Avoid exposing them to extreme temperatures to preserve their integrity.
