Very thankful for this product. I did a lot of research and this is by far the most protective headband. Sizing is accurate if you do proper sizing- I like that there is no adjustment because it makes it less bulky and it does not affect heading the ball. The foam is very protective, more than the other headbands I had looked at. Worth the money, head protection is something you do n't want to skimp on.

I bought this at the recommendation of my daughter's neurologist. She missed 5 months of soccer after being kicked in the head making a save in a tournament last fall. During her recovery, her doctor stressed the need to use extra head protection if possible. Now that she is back in goal, I feel a little better knowing that some of the impacts she could receive as a keeper will be dissipated by the head guard.

I have used both- this one works much better for sporting events where you will be sitting still for longer periods as it is too warm for me during strenous activity.
