This hat is very comfortable and offers excellent sun protection. It is a smaller hat as in the headpiece is not deep like a trucker hat. I got a medium and it fits perfectly. Having a less deep headpiece makes it possible to wear sunglasses or over the ear earphones comfortably. The sun cape is attachable by to buttons. The adjustable chin strap allows you to keep sun protection even in windy conditions.

The hat is a solid hat from Outdoor Research. It reminds me of one of my favorite hats from 4- 5 years ago from OR. The hat is a mid crowd hat compared to other older models breathable trucker hats. The material breaths well and the adjustment system is simple and easy to adjust on windy days. You can throw it in your bag in the morning and wear for happy hour beers after a ride. I am a redhead and these do the best job of protecting my neck, scalp, and face of any hat I have owned. I also love the folding brim so it can go in a pocket.
