The scent is distinctly crab, different from other Gulp scents so it stands out as being authentic. It pairs well as an alternate with Gulp shrimp-- if fish are n't hitting one, the other they will, so have them both on hand. Stays on the hook great, very simple to rig. Little fish will nibble at the legs a bit though.

Whenever I 've caught a Ling Cod 27 '' or longer I always found a crab in the stomach of each fish. I bought the 4 '' 3D Savage Crab lures and holy cow! Not only have I increased my catch but I 've started catching bigger Ling Cod. The Rockfish are evening hitting these lures. Great lure!
