Best smallmouth bass plastic lure of all time!! I would without a doubt choose these over plastic tubes any day. Works in cold and warm water, nice overcast or bright sunny day, river or lake. Does n't matter how outside is, these will produce big trophies. If you have n't rig one of these up on your line, you 're missing out!

Been using these for seems like ever. From 6 lb small mouth in Lake Erie to trout and walleye in Colorado its pretty much what I only fish with if not fly fishing. Just wish Rebel had n't got rid of the 2 inch silver color years back. Silver, bright green and light brown/white were my go too's. Now I can only fish silver in smaller which does n't troll as well.

June 28, 2020! I used a strawberry colored craw! Total for the day was 3 Pike 5 lbs or over! One 9lb Pike 3 smallmouth bass and several eating size Walleyes! That little lure took a beating and if the 9 lb Pike had of made one more run the hooks would have straightened out! I will be buying more of these! My fishing Buddy was amazed! I bought this on a whim not knowing how to use it. First try was on a Ned rig and it worked really well, after the second cast I got three decent size bass. Thought how else can I use this. It was a windy day so I thought I can just throw this out on a drop shot and let the current do the work and surprisingly it did. After about five minutes with this just sitting out there, I never moved it, a three and a half pound bass decide to eat it. Great little bait.

Works great on stocked trout when slow- trolled 0. 5-. 12 MPH. Only downside is that trout often easily throw it at the net. Changing out back hook to a# 10 does help somewhat. Firetiger and Red work the best in spring conditions.

I 've been very happy with the action, durability and color options of the Rapala Cleanup Craw. I 've used it as a jig trailer and Texas rigged it on an EWG hook with success. The claws do n't tear off on short strikes which is a huge plus. The forward facing appendages on the side of the craw flutter when retrieved. Chigger craws in the 4 '' size WILL catch bass! Texas rigging them and putting on a 1/8 ou. worm weight will put the bait in the hit zone, and will keep it pretty much snag free. I use this bait almost every time I go out fishing for largemouth. Finally, they hold up pretty well.

At first I was very skeptical about the googan baits but I decided to give a few different styles a try. The bandito bug has turned into my favorite flipping creature/craw soft plastic. Whether it ’s a pegged texas rig, jig trailer or my favorite... a Picasso wobble head. It always catches fish. When I first saw the bait in person, I thought it was too little for the lakes I fish but once I saw the action under water, I was very surprised at how wide those back legs kicked.. it gave it a larger appearance which was perfect. And that scent is amazing. Stays strong until the bait is unable to use. And yes, they are a little soft and can break easy but that ’s the price you pay for a bait with good action.
