These shoes are incredibly comfortable, and the grip is outstanding. Although I ’ m more of an urban dweller than an outdoors enthusiast, these shoes have proven their worth in the city. I live in a hilly area with lots of slopes and dirt on the roads. Recently, I stepped on a dirt- covered downhill slope, and I was certain I would slip. However, the grip on these shoes saved me from what could have been a nasty fall. I bought them specifically to test the Omni- Tech, as I 've injured both my ankles in similar situations before. I ’ m thrilled with this purchase—these shoes deliver exactly what I needed.

[ I love these shoes! I was apprehensive about trying them because I have dealt with plantar fasciitis and usually wear orthotic inserts and only buy running shoes. However, I love all things Columbia so I decided to look at their shoes. I tried these on in a shoe store, read the benefits, and decided to give them a try. They are comfortable, fit well, and the orthotic lite seems to work well. I walk for an hour every morning and the shoes have provided enough support and cushion for me to wear them the day without any foot discomfort. I walk outdoors and have twice walked in the rain since purchasing them. The outsides of the shoes were wet, but the insides were dry and just the tips of my socks were damp. That is also a game changer! Excellent all around shoe. I could n't be happier!
