These glasses have great frame material and VERY large lenses, which make them great for progressive- focus lenses. Smith, unfortunately, negated one of my prescription lens focus specifications, but they gave me a credit( not as much as the glasses) and I had a local optometrist install lenses with the correct focus.

Say goodbye to the squints- you can just feel your eyes relax when you put these on. My favorite feature is probably function of the stems- they snap open and shut and hold their position, so if you have your shades clipped in to the front of your shirt, they wo n't fall out when you bend over to pet that awesome dog you just saw. I was worried they 'd be too big for my face, since the frames are quite large, but my mom said I look handsome in them and she's the expert. No shade for Smith- they just make good shades.

[ The most essential thing for sunglasses is the way they fit an individual face. For me, it has always been difficult to find sunglasses that fit my rather low nose bridge, as Asian Fit glasses usually fit me best. The glasses that work best for me are the Oakley Half Jacket with raised nose pads, and the Oakley Holbrook. When I tried these on, I instantly knew they were a winner. Somehow 100 Percent has managed to create a sunglass that fits almost all face types. They 're light and they stay in place as well, which is important for active pursuits that these sunglasses lend themselves towards. Time will tell how the optics perform, but so far, the photochromic feature changes shade within 90 seconds or so. The periphipheral view is adequate, and the frame bar in the middle of the sunglass does not get in the way of vision.
