I learned very quickly that the Sorel Caribou boot was the Best way to keep feet dry and relatively warm in the Great white Tundra of the North East states. If you 're need is to do delicate footwork in steep or awkward terrain these are not the boots for you. But, if you 're spending a lot of time working outside in Wyoming in winter in snow, on ice, and in the very special kind of mud we have up here, they are stellar. I had a little break in period to soften up the ankles a little. They are warm, without heavy socks, even in sub- zero° F temps, comfy, 100% waterproof, and easy to clean. Sizing winter boots has been quite challenging. I wear a 10. 5 medium width athletic shoe/ 44. 5 cycling shoe. I tried many brands and sizes including LL Bean, KEEN, Columbia, Muck, and a few more. Boots like this can feel stiff so I prefer thicker wool socks for added cushion and insulation. An 11. 5 was snug but not too tight( like the 11) and gave me enough wiggle room in the toe box. When I finally got outdoors with them, I found them warm and comfortable walking around for more than two hours through slush and snow on trails and streets. They are quick to slip on and lace up, quick to unlace and slip off. I am very satisfied with them.

I 've worn these a few times a month for about five months now and I 'm impressed by their waterproof ability. Recently I had to work for several hours out in the rain and every layer I was wearing ended up soaked- but my socks and feet stayed dry! Construction wise I 'm concerned about how hard they are to pull on- I 'm afraid they 'll wear out at the heel early.

I ’ m obsessed with these sneaker boots! They are so versatile! I ’ m a hairstylist and on my feet basically 24/7, I actually wear these to work pretty often bc they ’ re so comfortable( with my specialty inserts for super high arches) and they are awesome! I get tons of compliments all the time. They ’ re super light weight and not clunky like most boots. The best thing is that they ’ re warm enough for me to wear to the dog park when it ’s freezing( below zero here in Mn) but also not so hot that I can actually wear them all day at work inside. The traction has been amazing on snow and ice so far. Seriously, I ’ m obsessed with these boots, I just wish they had them in men ’s for my husband. Best winter hunting boots you can get. I 've been using mine for about 10 years now, and buy a set for each of my teens each year. If you get the fit right, they do n't pull your socks down when you walk. Very good for walking unlink the tradition tall boots. Most importantly, they are the only boots that you can sit for a couple of hours in the winter with and your feet do n't get cold. Any other boot I have ever tried, even the ones that claim- 30C, my feet always got cold really quickly, Even in only- 10C. Yet these boots I can sit for a couple of hours in- 30C, and everything else on me gets cold EXCEPT my feet.

I 've been using these for my outdoor gardening and landscaping projects and my initial impression was shock at just how comfortable they were. In using them, working all day, my feet were n't sore like they have been with other boots. I absolutely loved that I could just straight hose them off at the end of the day, when they say waterproof, they mean waterproof. Not just part of the boot, the whole thing. 10/10 would recommend. These boots are great in colder weather. We recently had snow and these kept my feet warm. I like these better than the other winter boots Muck has due to them being so much lighter. Also these boots typically run wide but with the fleece, it allows them to fit perfect.
