I got these for my papa as a late fathers day gift. He works at a big plant in Donaldson and he wears them every day.( Even though they change in the locker rooms anyway.) He wears them whenever we go shopping, out to eat, anywhere! When you first get them though, make sure you wear socks above the ankle, they will rub your heels! After you break them in, socks are optional with these shoes. Definitely worth the money.

They aren ’ t breathable( as I expected) due to the waterproofing of the boot, but the fact that they are short boots helps them breathe a little more than a tall boot. They are very comfortable and I have even wore them for short hikes because I decided not to change my shoes. They have quickly became my everyday winter shoe/boot. I love the purple color, it is so fun, but when mud splashed on them it stays visible until you wash it off. The one time I did scrub them off they did clean up relatively nicely, but if you want an easier maintenance boot, I would get a darker color.

[ I 've been looking for an alternative to my Xtratuffs and came across these. The comfort on the midsole is what I was really looking forward too. Long days on my feet on a 10+ hour workday means I need all the comfort I can get and so far these shoes have met my expectations. So far the outer water protection layer is holding up. The only downside I 've found so far is the opening to the shoe is narrow and I have to wear long socks or pants that come down to protect my shins from all the rubbing and hitting from walking.

I usually wear an 8 and these fit perfect true to size. They are like pillows on your feet. There is no arch support inside the boot so if you need that you might want to add your own inserts. I bought these beginning 2025 and main complaint I read was hard to determine on due to narrow opening. I have a skinny foot and hold on to both loops to slip on shoe. I could see if you have a thick or wide foot you may have issues getting it on but once you get into the boot it is not right. Easy to get off. I know these were designed for deck shoes on a boat and I could see they have a bottom created for that. If you walk on snow or frozen surfaces they are NOT good for that at all. I almost fell on my toosh walking on these on hard frozen surfaces. Rubber gets hard on the bottom and traction is not built for that. I walked down a muddy bank and slid all the way down to the creek due to no traction on the bottom. I love the boots for walking my dog and fishing in our boat. The cushion is awesome. They do hold stains if you get in red dirt. You need to wash them off immediately or they hold the stain. In general for some reason the cushiony material sucks up grime and they are hard to keep looking good even after scrubbing they need to add something to the cushion part of boot to block the grime. I bought the purplish swirl boot color.

I wear them on the boat and outdoors on trails. I compare them to my Xtratuf boots and these are more heavy duty and you pay for what you get, which is better durability and comfort.
