[ The exile is one of my favorites by far. It has great pop and a huge barrel. Great alternative to the atlas and all of the other one piece bats out on the market. It feels very lightweight and durable and the alloy makes it sound amazing and you can feel where you hit the ball. It is a one piece bat that has the power of a composite and I can ’ t wait to use it in game.

[ Very nicely made bat. Colors are very nice. Swings very light. That handle will definitely need a grip tape if you intend to spray any tacky spray on and for it to stay. Definitely has some good pop. It seems very indestructible so you have a lot more confidence to swing hard on pitches that would be questionable on some wooden bats.

Rueben Breaux
Good bat with tons of pop and big sweet spot. It ’s extremely balanced compared to any 28/18 composite on his team. It ’s slightly heavier than the 2024 model, but less than an oz difference. Biggest take away is that it ’s hotter than 2024 model on exit velocity, but isn ’ t as forgiving on miss hits and rattles the hands a lot more.

My 9- year- old loves this bat! We did a ton of research and had him try out a lot of different types of bats as he was upgrading from a 27 to 29 inch bat for this upcoming season. He is a strong hitter but has an issue with casting. We found that he performs much better with a one- piece bat, and he was extremely confident with this Voodoo over the super trendy two- piece composite bats that everyone is purchasing right now. We let him have his pick of bats and he chose this one. Would definitely recommend this bat for the age range!

[ I bought this for my 8 year old daughter( 4' 4 '', 78lbs). She picked it for the colors. She's been using a 29- 11, but we sized up since having two of the same size is senseless. I bought this USA bat for my son to finish out the Little League season after his Easton cracked. Although this bat is an ounce heavier than his previous bat, my son said it felt like it was lighter with the same pop-- hence the balance. My son is a gap to gap hitter so a balanced bat like this is better for him than a more end- loaded bat. Overall, I 'm pleased with the purchase and would continue to go DeMarini alloy for any USA required bat.

The DeMarini Omega is a standout in the 2025 BBCOR lineup, built for hitters who want power, precision, and all- around consistency. Featuring a one- piece alloy construction, the Omega delivers the stiff, connected feel power hitters love, but with enough balance and comfort to appeal to contact guys as well. Its Omega Alloy barrel offers a huge sweet spot and impressive pop right out of the wrapper. The slightly end- loaded swing weight gives you extra carry without feeling heavy through the zone. Whether you ’ re driving balls gap- to- gap or launching deep fly balls, the Omega brings serious exit velocity to every swing. Despite being a one- piece, vibration is minimal. The Fortified Handle design keeps your hands comfortable, even on mishits — a rare trait in stiff alloy bats. It feels smooth and controlled without sacrificing performance. Durability is another win. The Omega can handle hundreds of swings without losing pop, making it a go- to option for high school and college players who need something they can rely on all season. In short, the Omega is a weapon. It swings clean, hits hard, and holds up under pressure. If you 're looking for a BBCOR bat that checks every box — barrel, feel, pop, and longevity — this one should be at the top of your list. Final Score: 9. 4/10 Power: 9. 5 Barrel: 9. 3 Feel: 9. 4 Durability: 9. 5 Vibration Control: 9. 2 The DeMarini Omega isn ’ t just great, it ’s one of the best bats in the game right now.

Really good bat. I have had it for about a week and it ’s really hot. The smaller barrel profile allows me to whip it through the zone to catch up to quicker pitching. Even though the profile is smaller, it still has a great sweet spot. I ’ m a smaller guy so I like the balanced feel to it. Will definitely be gaming this bat for my spring high school season.

Rjmarlowe
So far so good. We got this on the release date and have about 250 hits on it. The pop is comparable to the CF she was using. Balance is very similar to the CF. We seem to be getting a bit less vibration with the Lotus than others we ’ ve used. Max exit velocity is almost identical to our other models but average is a bit higher. Could be “ new bat ” placebo, time will tell. The soft handle knob was a big bonus. The most noticeable difference than other Demarini models we have used is the sound. It ’s very unique and a good bit louder than the CF/Prism we have used. My daughter loves it!

My daughter just upgraded to a 32 and she choices the lotus. She had the 2023 demarini and she loved that bat. She has been using it for almost 2 weeks now and the pop she has gotten from the bat is fantastic.

[ My 11 year old has been using this bat for about a month. Overall it ’s very nice. It swings a little heavier than most drop 8s because it ’s more end loaded. It sounds good and has very low vibration when good contact is made. So far it has been durable.
A balanced bat is designed to provide an even weight distribution throughout the bat, making it easier to control and swing. This design allows for quicker bat speed and improved accuracy during swings, which can be beneficial for players who prioritize contact hitting. In contrast, end-loaded bats have more weight towards the end, which can generate more power but may be harder to control.
Balanced bats are often made from a variety of materials, including composite, aluminum, and wood. Composite bats are popular for their lightweight feel and large sweet spots, while aluminum bats offer durability and consistent performance. Wood bats, typically made from maple or ash, provide a traditional feel and are often used in professional leagues.
Balanced bats are ideal for players who focus on making contact and improving their swing speed. They are particularly beneficial for younger players or those transitioning to higher levels of play, as they help develop proper hitting mechanics. Additionally, players who prioritize precision and control over raw power often prefer balanced bats.
Yes, balanced bats can be used effectively against various types of pitching, including fastballs and off-speed pitches. Their design allows for quick adjustments, making it easier for hitters to react to different pitch speeds and locations. However, players may choose different bat types based on their specific hitting style and the pitching they face.
Choosing the right size balanced bat involves considering both length and weight. A general guideline is to select a bat that reaches the player's hip when standing upright. Additionally, players should consider their strength and swing style; lighter bats are easier to control, while heavier bats can provide more power. Trying out different sizes can help determine the best fit.
