Rueben Breaux
Good bat with tons of pop and big sweet spot. It ’s extremely balanced compared to any 28/18 composite on his team. It ’s slightly heavier than the 2024 model, but less than an oz difference. Biggest take away is that it ’s hotter than 2024 model on exit velocity, but isn ’ t as forgiving on miss hits and rattles the hands a lot more.

Son absolutely loves this bat he swapped up from a Zen that got damaged and was short for him and he is loving this thing it ’s got that pop like a one piece but the lighter feel of the two piece! Great overall pick for usssa

Used it for the first time in a game and came the closest he ’s ever come to hitting over the fence. So far we are extremely satisfied with this bat!

My 9- year- old loves this bat! We did a ton of research and had him try out a lot of different types of bats as he was upgrading from a 27 to 29 inch bat for this upcoming season. He is a strong hitter but has an issue with casting. We found that he performs much better with a one- piece bat, and he was extremely confident with this Voodoo over the super trendy two- piece composite bats that everyone is purchasing right now. We let him have his pick of bats and he chose this one. Would definitely recommend this bat for the age range!

[ My 11 year old has been using this bat for about a month. Overall it ’s very nice. It swings a little heavier than most drop 8s because it ’s more end loaded. It sounds good and has very low vibration when good contact is made. So far it has been durable.
Big barrel baseball bats are designed to provide a larger sweet spot, which can help young players make better contact with the ball. This feature can enhance their hitting performance and boost confidence at the plate. Additionally, the increased barrel size often allows for a lighter swing weight, making it easier for younger athletes to generate bat speed.
When selecting a youth big barrel baseball bat, consider factors such as the player's age, size, and skill level. It's important to choose the right length and weight to ensure proper swing mechanics. Additionally, look for bats that meet league regulations and are made from durable materials to withstand regular use.
The weight drop of a big barrel bat, indicated by the negative number, represents the difference between the bat's length in inches and its weight in ounces. A higher weight drop means a lighter bat, which can help younger players swing faster and generate more bat speed. However, it's essential to find a balance, as too light of a bat may hinder power and control.
Youth big barrel baseball bats are typically made from aluminum, composite, or a combination of both materials. Aluminum bats are known for their durability and consistent performance, while composite bats often provide a larger sweet spot and better vibration dampening. Understanding the differences in materials can help players choose a bat that suits their style and needs.
Yes, there are different types of big barrel bats designed for various playing levels, including recreational, travel, and competitive leagues. Each type may have specific performance characteristics and regulations that cater to the skill level of the players. It's important to select a bat that aligns with the player's experience and the league's requirements.
Youth big barrel baseball bats are generally designed for players aged 8 to 14 years old, though this can vary based on individual skill levels and league rules. As players grow and develop their skills, they may transition to different bat sizes and weights. It's essential to choose a bat that fits the player's current age and physical development for optimal performance.
