Great Parka
Great quality always with North Face, this coat is very warm and not overly bulky like some parkas. The only thing I 'm a little nervous of is the zipper, it seems to me that its not as heavy duty as some I 've had from other North Face coats.

Bought this for my 13 year old. He's 5' 2, skinny, got size XL 14/16 and it fits him good, he could wear a sweatshirt underneath and it's still comfortable, not tight at all. The coat is lightweight, plushy, soft and definitely warm. 100% recommend.

I bought this jacket for my wife, who seems to never be warm lol. She spends hours in the windy winter at our daughters sporting events. This is her go to jacket and keeps it in her car everywhere she goes. She absolutely loves it and gets compliments everywhere she goes. We have recommended this jacket to numerous people and those that have purchased it always tell us how it ’s the warmest jacket they have ever owned.

I wore this coat nearly every day over the past winter. I live in the Rockies near Aspen, and it kept me protected from the wind and very warm even on frequent, negative - temp days. The hood is large and fits easily over a beanie without my having to shrug my shoulders to keep it on. Bottom hem hits below my knees( I 'm 5' 5 ''), and zips up easily over my big booty and thighs! Quality zipper. Sleeves are a good length. Large pockets that can fit my hands, phone, whatever else; there's an inside chest pocket as well. The material is soft and matte black, no shine and no crinkly noise when I move. Due to the nice texture of the material, though, there is consistently dog hair clinging to it, lol. A crappy lint roller can get that job done just fine. Dust brushes off easily, so I rarely need to spot clean. Highly, highly recommend.

Bought the parka for my wife and she was thrilled! She is hard to please, but this did the trick. The parka is long enough to cover her hips( she has SI joint pain, so keeping them warm is critical) and was super comfy. The parka was perfect for taking the dogs out for their walk in the winter. It may be a bit much for more strenuous activities given the volume.

Great jacket, super warm. Perfect for wearing around the ski hill before/after hitting the slopes. Also cute enough to walk around town in. Love the thumb holes. I 'm 5' 9 ''& 150#, got a medium. It's a little big, but I do n't think the arms would have been long enough if I went down to a small.

For reference I am W; 5'11, 145lbs, and purchased in size Medium. I live in Ottawa, ON, Canada, and it gets down below - 20C routinely. I have had this jacket for a year now and could not be happier. As someone tall and with long arms, this jacket is a dream! Every time I slip it on I feel like it was made for me, the fit is that perfect. The adjustable drawstring at the waist and knees ensures that no wind is going up your back, but i still have room to layer a sweater underneath. This parka is also super toasty and does a good job of being wind resistant. The hood is also one of the best I have ever had. It offers the same insulation as the rest of the jacket, and when you tighten the drawstring it's then shaped perfectly to your head. No matter how windy or stormy the hood stays in place. As someone who used to dread winter because I was always cold/uncomfortable, upgrading to a quality parka that actually reaches all the way to my knees has been such a game changer. I guess it's true what they say, there's no such thing as bad weather, just bad outfits. I would purchase this product again and again. Please never change the fit or the quality!

I bought this coat when I moved to one of the coldest cities in the US( Duluth). To those who think this coat is not warm enough… that is utter nonsense. If it is above 20F( - 5C) I literally sweat in this coat, even just wearing a t shirt underneath. I have worn it to walk my dogs for over an hour in - 40F windchill and still felt warm. I would say if you don ’ t live somewhere very very cold, this coat may too warm for you. I would absolutely plan to rebuy if ever needed but so far it has held up great! 155lbs, 5 ’ 7 SIZE M fits perfect

As a native Chicagoan, I ’ ve endured some frigid temperatures( as cold as - 20F/ - 28C with the windchill) and this parka is my secret weapon. It ’s roomy enough to fit multiple thick layers underneath and super comfortable. The hood helps shield your face from heavy winds and doesn ’ t easily collapse. It ’s a little bulky, but that ’s to be expected for the type of coat it is. It is legitimately the warmest coat I own. I ’ m obsessed. I highly recommend this parka to anyone who has to deal with routinely frigid winters. It ’s worth the cost.

I absolutely love this jacket—it's hands down the best one I own, and I have a lot. The red color is eye - catching, and it's incredibly comfortable and flexible, not stiff or heavy even in the coldest temperatures. Living in the Northeast, I 'm often outside in freezing weather, and this jacket keeps me warm without feeling bulky. After a couple of years, it still looks great, and I get tons of compliments on it. It's easy to care for too: I wash it on a gentle cycle with mild detergent and air fluff it on low heat, and it comes out looking like new. Definitely a five - star product!

I love this coat! I live in Alberta, Canada and I am always cold( I keep my house at 22 C and also sit under a blanket). I have only had this coat a few weeks, but I LOVE it. As other reviewers have mentioned, it ’s a bit like wearing a sleeping bag, but in a good way. I bought the navy blue, which is true to the picture online. I ’ ve already gotten compliments on the colour. I was so warm and cozy today at - 25 C with only a light layer underneath. It is soft, wind resistant and light weight. I know it to continue to keep me warm below - 25 temperatures. I ordered XS as per the size chart( the fit finder recommended size small). The XS fits perfectly with room for layers. I am 5 ’ 10 with long arms and find the sleeve length to be great and the coat falls just below my knees. I love all of the pockets, drawstrings and snaps. What a great investment!

I live in southeastern Massachusetts, and it's been unusually cold this winter. I researched different brands of insulated parka coats for men and came to the conclusion the North Face Nuptse Parka is supreme. I love how immediately effective it is in blocking all of the frigid cold even with less layering underneath. On my workdays in the office, I wear a business suit year - round, and this parka takes the place of my usual black wool overcoat. It is light and versatile enough even for warmer days. I 've been a fan of North Face since 1989 when I purchased my first Gortex down parka from them. I adore their quality workmanship, and the zippers last forever!

[ I live in the Ozarks and am traveling to Iceland in April. I love my outdoor life, hiking, and winter living when I 'm dressed accordingly. I wanted the warmest coat I could buy that was light weight and would not be bulky on planes, trains, and automobiles. This beauty is it. I am in LOVE with this cozy jacket. Feels like a down comfortable - warm and my new best friend. The fabric is also forgiving also - a gentle stretch and great color. The technical aspects - length, 700 loft, attached hood, zippable pockets, and wrist fit - batting a perfect game. Most importantly, the fit is perfect. I am 5' 4 '', 178 lbs and purchased a large because I wanted to layer over base layers. Iceland here I come.

[ I just retired from being a park ranger so did my research concerning warmth, the ability to layer& leg freedom to hike& snow shoe etc. It dodges that sleeping bag feel w/out giving up the warmth factor. The high collar& hood fit comfortably. It is an investment which will hopefully pay off for some years as it is not overly Fashioned as to look outdated. Gotten some compliments on it. I am 5 ’ 4 ” 135 lbs& a medium checks in to cover derrière, mid hip nicely. Pleased& would encourage a consideration. EB

I bought the Stretchdown Parka to replace my Stretchdown Hoodie, which was too big due to weight loss. I wasn ’ t sure I loved the look of the parka as much as the hoodie, but I love the following parka features: 1. The collar zips up high eliminating the need for a scarf. 2. Chest pocket - so handy for phones. Let ’s normalize chest pockets in women ’s jackets. 3. I love the matte fabric of Stretchdown. Looks better than shiny down. 4. The parka covers your butt for extra warmth. I live in MN so it helps.

This pack - down hoodie meets all the requirements. Firstly, the craftsmanship is impeccable. I am 5 ’ 6 ” athletic - built and wear a large size, and I can confirm that it is true to size. I appreciate its packability and versatility, as it can be worn with a base layer or a shell on top, enabling it to withstand temperatures as low as the single digits. I ordered the flame orange/uni blue color, which is visually appealing and would be a worthwhile purchase before it sells out. Upon receiving the hoodie, I applied Nikwax Down Wash and Down Proof to achieve a DWR finish. I have attached pictures for your reference.

This puffy is best used for around 0 C to 5 C in dry weather, in sub zero temps it may not be warm enough. The fabric is soft and comfy to touch with a nice fleece lining on chin and neck area to keep that area warm and also helps if you have a beard. I 'm about 170 cm, 66 kg and a small fit too tight in the chest and armpits, medium fits well relaxed with room to layer, the sleeves are just a bit long. The hood and collar have nice coverage to keep head and neck warm. Personally, I do n't mind the yellow shoelace, it does n't get in the way much. A great feature is the double zipper which allows you to vent heat without taking the jacket off.

I live in the Western mountains of Maine beside the White Mountain National Forest. We get spooky weather here. It was a brittle - 10° when I got up at 0530. I threw my Expedition Pack Down Hoodie on over just a merino wool base layer. Something I wear 24/7 in the winter here. I was quite comfortable outside. I 'm not going to lie, my face stung from the cold. A quick pull, a tug or two here and there and voila! Now it was tolerable which is enough! I 'm 69. I 've been through a few jackets in my lifetime. I can tell within 5 minutes whether a jacket will do the job and stand up to wear. This was a treat to myself. I have gone through so many winters with barely adequate clothing. This year I finally figured out how to dress. This jacket is superb. It handled some rather high wind the other day better than I expected. I HATE feeling that cold wind blow right through a jacket! Look, I found myself just wanting to go for a walk the other day just so I could wear it! I love the length in the back. Not keeping your butt covered is asking for trouble! Love the arm length which SHOULD be a tad longer than normal to ensure no `` pull up '' around your wrists. Love way you can pull this jacket around your body. Everything is adjusted just for me! Any jacket like this really shines with proper layer material. It's no secret but, just go with wool. Period. A wool base layer( I go with the thickest I can find) is the key. I quite often wear just my wool base layer for a shirt. Job well done Fjallraven!

Ive been an avid northface wearer my entire life. I would have multiple jackets that I would bounce around from throughtout the winter as the conditions changed. Thats all over now after finding the Salazo Down Parka. This thing can do it all in every condition. I remain just as warm in it with a T shirt as I did in my northface jackets all layered up. I ended up going with my normal size of XS after trying the XS and S. I 'm 5' 1 '' and 109 lbs for reference. The size small fit more oversized but the arm sleeve were slightly too long. If you 're between sizes, I would size up. My main concern was how cropped it might be and both jackets ended up hitting my waist at about the same spot so I went with the smaller size for the better arm and shoulder fit.

I LOVE this jacket. I do wish the hip area was more boxy and had a synch cord. It can be a bit tight on the hips even tough I sized up. I really like that the powder skirt is removable to get rib of the added bulk. I wish there was an outer chest pocket. The wrist cuffs are a bit bulky. The jacket is super warm but sometimes it feels like the seams are not windproof. Overall very happy with the purchase. 10/10 for style points.

Now 2 months in my possession. Without any doubt a really warm jacket. But be aware: it ’s rather bulky and not a slim fit jacket. If you are looking for a really warm jacket, it ’s your choice; if you are looking for a warm jacket for daily use, you better make another choice..

I recently bought this jacket in response to the upcoming cold snap in Edmonton and it performs extremely well! For reference, the temperatures during the cold snap can range from - 30 to - 45 degrees Celsius and this jacket kept me warm through all of it( with a few layers, of course). Definitely recommend it to those who want an extremely warm, light, and durable jacket!

I bought myself and my daughter this coat and wore it on our trip to Iceland. We both loved it. It was warm and kept us dry in a light rain. It also cleaned off easily as my daughter got mud on hers. It was very light weight and took up very little space in our bags. It fit very well and was comfortable for horseback riding, hiking, and walking around the city. We both loved how it looked too.

[ When I received the Arctic Crest jacket I was at first a little concerned that it would n't be very warm because it was so lightweight. After wearing the jacket for a few weeks during winter in northern New England my worries were laid to rest. This jacket fits just right and is incredibly warm. I feel like the new Omni Heat Artic even works when its cloudy or getting dark. The hood on the Artic Crest has what may be the best fit of any jacket I have ever owned. I also like that this jacket can pack into it's side pocket for easy minimal packing. Overall very impressed so far!!

I live in Chicago and have a 10 minute walk to the train every morning. I knew I wanted a real down coat for the winter, but some of them are so ridiculously expensive. I bought this jacket about a week ago and have really put it to the test. It has been below freezing every day since getting it and this week it dropped to - 20F/ - 29C. With only a long sleeve shirt on( and some snow pants) I can comfortably walk around even in the - 20F/ - 29C with the jacket zipped all the way up and hood on. Speaking of the hood, it is amazingly puffy and warm. I live in the northern Midwest( in the US) so there is a lot of wind and this jacket does an amazing job of stopping the wind, with gusts up to 60mph I have n't felt the wind cut through once. I love how many pockets there are. The outside pockets are very warm and puffy. Even just wearing knit gloves in - 20F/ - 29C I was able to put my hands in the pockets and they would warm back after about 5min. The pockets are VERY puffy though which does cut down a little on how much stuff you can hold in them( especially without them bulging out too much). I typically have my keys, chapstick, and light knit gloves in one pocket and my phone in the other and my hands still fit just fine, but I personally think the pockets could 've been a tiny bit deeper to make up for the space lost to the puff. This jacket is not particularly breathable, so if you are doing any moderate exercise, like uphill hiking or snow shoveling, you will get hot in it. For me at least, this jacket is a little too warm to wear while snow shoveling if it is above 20F without unzipping all the way, but great for just walking around the city or light trail walks with the dogs. Overall, if you end up in weather that is consistently below freezing this jacket is definitely a great buy and I would highly recommend. I bought a Medium and can comfortably fit a knit sweater or hoodie underneath. I could 've fit into a Small but I wanted the extra space to layer and the small was snug. I am 5'10 ''( 179cm), 158lbs My measurements are: Chest 36. 5in, Waist 29. 5in, Hips 40. 5in The jacket length hits me at about crotch height/low butt and the sleeves are long enough to cover my hands when I ball my fists.

[ This jacket is extremely well made and should last for years. It is very warm for below 40 degree weather. No wind is felt. The weight of the jacket is slightly heavy, but you do n't feel bulky wearing it. I use it for hiking, and it's extremely comfortable and moves freely without restraints.

I went hiking in Iceland with this jacket, and let me tell you, it is 100% worth it. At first, I was slightly annoyed with the hood, but now I see why it's designed like that; my hood stayed on in 60 mph wind! The zipper's leather tag broke off, but it's not a big deal. The zipper can be annoying to zip up and get stuck at times. Overall, I was in - 8 degree weather and 60 mph wind and SWEATING during my hike - definitely wind and waterproof. I did but on wax only on the shoulders but you honestly do n't really need the wax, I 've been in rain, snow, hail and stayed dry and warm.

First - I will say this coat is AWESOME! I wanted to finally invest in a hardy quality winter coat and this one fit the bill. This is the warmest and nicest coat I 've ever owned. I was tired of the trendy lightweight down coats that do n't actually keep you as warm as you 'd like. There is a kind of pleasure that comes from wearing and enjoying a finely crafted article of clothing and this jacket gives just that. It feels exceptionally cozy and of high quality. Second, I will say that this coat is BIG. I really do not understand Fjallraven's sizing recommendations. For reference, I am male, 6' and 160lbs with an athletic( I would like to say) build. I find it a little frustrating to read reviews and feedback about sizing but most people do not put their body size in the review for comparison. If I had followed Fjallraven's sizing guide, I should have ordered a medium. I was torn about which size to order and found it hard to gauge based on reviews, so I ordered a Small and Medium with the intent to return whichever one I did n't want. I will definitely be sticking with the small. The small itself almost feels a tad oversized but I think it will do okay. The medium just feels comically big on me. Even with wearing a shirt and lightweight sweater underneath, I am quite comfortable and still have full range of motion in the small. As far as warmth and comfort, this thing feels so comfortable. I am impressed with the amount of down and insulation in this thing. I live in the midwest USA and our winters get down to 18 - 20F on an average cold winter day, usually with several days dipping into the single digits or lower. I walk my dog every morning and enjoy winter hiking and I feel confident and prepared for the coming winter now. So far we have not hit a very very cold day but I did try it out in a morning just above freezing. I wore only a T - shirt underneath while walking my dog and did not overheat in it as others stated - I felt quite comfortable. Part of me wonders if this means I would be a little cold in just the jacket on the really really cold days, but I think it is reasonable to still require a warm base layer or thin sweater underneath to stay warm enough. I feel confident this will be the case. The hood is impressive - big and warm and well insulated and fits snugly enough when pulled over your head and the fuzzy lining feels functional enough to keep out wind, not just a fashion statement. The drawstrings add a nice touch and work well, helping you to show off your lean figure still in a thick coat as you cinch it up around your waist. This helps trap warm air inside and I noticed it also takes a bit of the weight of the coat off your upper body and puts it onto your hips - kind of like the hip straps of a backpack. The zipper is not really as big of a problem as some have complained. It is a bit funny because it is on the opposite side as most zippers for men in the US. Maybe this is a Swedish thing? I 'm sure I will get used to it. Overall, I would say: Stylish, cozy, WARM, quality. It brings me joy and confidence knowing I am well prepared for the coming winter.

I have now become a fan of Fjallraven parkas. I like their casual/outdoorsy design over more formal/urban designs( CG, MK, etc.). I like the numerous pockets of which some are quite spacious. This is a big plus for me over other brands( like CG and MK). Price - wise Fjallraven falls in the middle: they are not the cheapest in the market yet they are less expensive than the so called 'prestigious' brands like CG, MK, N, M, etc.. I find Fjallraven to be as good as any of the them in regards to product quality. The G1000 shell feels very tough and durable. The lining feels good too though I like the lining of Singi Wool better as it feels more organic. Why does n't Fjallraven use the same lining in Singi Down is puzzle - some to me. There are a few caveats though. After getting a Singi Wool in small size which was a perfect fit for me, I bought the Singi Down in small size too. It turned out to be too small for me. It felt particularly tight around my hip. I am 72kg, 178cm tall. Moreover, I got it in Dark Navy color. Strangely, the shell had a green hue to it! It was n't a deal breaker but I certainly preferred a neutral navy tone. I could not return the jacket so sold it online. Since I liked the jacket, I was looking to get one in medium size. Recently, there was a sale on Fjakraven products in a local store at% 50 discount. These were apparently sample units or new units with some defects. Look and behold, I saw a Singi Down( sample unit) in large size( the only available one). I tried it and while it was a bit loose and bulky on me, it was certainly acceptable and the sleeves were the right length. Strangely, the jacket was in a beautiful blue tone( indigo?) that is not available online. The color was like dream come true! So I am again a Singi Down owner. Not sure why this color is n't available online for sale. Perhaps, they are planning to introduce the color in the future or is perhaps this is a discontinued color.

I think I can best summarize my opinion of this coat in that it makes me want to go outside in blizzards. This thing is sooo warm and well designed for practical use; I spend a huge amount of time standing outside for hours in the winter and this is the perfect tool for the job. Not only is it warm, but its also very durable. The external fabric is tough! I have no concerns about it every ripping which is a huge peace of mind, I think the thick fabric also helps protect from wind which is really nice when its blustery. The pockets are very generous and perfect for stashing gloves or other moderate sizes items if needed. I find myself rarely needing the hood but when I do its oversized and very helpful in protecting against flakes or wind. The only thing that I dont absolutely love about this thing is the zipper for some reason its a bit hard to line up, and there is a bit of a learning curve, its funny, every winter it takes me a couple tries when first using the coat to get the feel for it, but after that I have no issus; on the other hand, the zipper is very durable so its not like I 'm concerned about it failing, more that it just takes a bit of a specific 'touch' to get it to line up. Overall I would highly reccomend this, it will last for years( mine has so far, and I expect it will for many more) its also a lot more affordable than other premium parkas, but I think this one is actually warmer and more practical in many ways than its competitors.

[ I spend all my weekends in hockey rinks with two kids in hockey and this thing keeps me toasty with just a shirt underneath. It looks great with the fur removed, and the zipper is not that much of an issue it just zips up on the other side from usual, otherwise it works great. I personally have had no issues with zips or buttons. I bought mine in 2017 and plan to wear it for many more years yet. But I do wonder if the quality has changed since or whether there have been other production changes, as everyone seems to find it fits large and I found it to fit small, as did other reviewers at the time. I 'm now wary of replacing it with a new Singi due to these mixed reviews!

FjällFox
This is the warmest jacket I have ever owned, and having come from Northern Sweden I 've tried many! This is the best jacket. It is not restricting, allows for full and fluid movement, but it is extremely warm. The hood is well made and does n't blow down even walking directly into 60km/hr winds. I wore this jacket over regular clothing, without base or thermal layers, in - 15 weather with heavy wind gusts just to see how well it did on its own and I was very comfortably warm. I have horses and they will rub up against me and press their heads into me and this jacket handles it all without any sign of wear and tear. I am 172cm and 54kg and I chose a size small. I could have fit into an extra - small, but I liked the extra room to be able to layer underneath on those really cold days.

Got my usual size, super warm and far superior to all my previous synthetic jackets. I like wearing oversized sweaters and they fit perfectly under this jacket. Fitted shirts work, too. The style is cute and slightly oversized, and not overly sleek and streamlined which is exactly what I 'm going for.

fjällräven_tjejen
I bought this parka in hopes to visit the Swedish Lapland again. And I did visit the Swedish Lapland beginning of January of THIS year!! Oh, my! We got hit by very low temps and were stuck in Abisko/Kiruna because all public transport was halted due to extreme cold.. Temps of - 33 during the day and down to - 42 at night. But it was no issue for me with this parka! It really held its promise and it really met my expectations. Of course I also had layers of merino underneath to keep me warm but the cut of the parka allows it. I am size Small in all jackets in Fjällräven and did not need to size up in my Singi. I also waxed it up nicely before the trip. The double zipper takes a bit of practice to get used it but it's worth it. At some point I laid down in the snow and watched the Northern Lights dance in the sky and the cold did n't bother me. As a conclusion, I am very happy I invested in this jacket. P.s. my height is 170, weight around 61 - 63, slim built. Size Small allows generous layers without looking bulky.

Got last year's version of the Montreaux coat at a GREAT discount and my daughter loves this coat. She wanted a long warm coat for outdoor recess with her students and this fits the bill perfectly.

[ This is a very warm well made jacket. Columbia never disappoints. I love how this jacket looks as well as how it covers my butt. The hood is also very very nice.

[ Great jacket. Comfortable, light weight, love the color. Actually the second one of these I purchased as somehow the first one became very stained and couldn ’ t get the stains out. 😥

[ Love this jacket! Great for mild fall weather, windy days, and mild winter days. Lightweight and comfortable!

[ A great jacket to keep warm and still look nice. There are interior thumb sleeves to help keep hands warm. The inside zippered pocket is great for ID, plane tickets and such. Exterior pockets are zippered to keep everything in that's supposed to be in. Love all the colors. Who wants a black jacket? Everyone has a black jacket. It's nice to wear a different color sometimes.

Got this in navy and it's so stylish as well as warm. I also have the shorter Heavenly jacket and they are both great. Just wish it had a draw string on the hood, but other than that, it's perfect!

[ I love my new coat! It is warm, has deep soft pockets and a good hood. I also like that it has snaps in the front, not velcro, which always catches on scarves and clothing. I usually buy a size 4 but bought this in an 8 so it does run small.

[ My wife adores this coat, which gets her through the Chicago winters without looking like she ’s training to summit Mount Everest. I thought the down wouldn ’ t be either thick or high wuality enough, but she loves it.

[ This is the warmest coat I ’ ve ever owned, perfect for cold winter walks. At first I was looking at petite sizes, but the only colors available were black or charcoal. I decided to get the color ‘ prophecy ’ and, even though I ’ m short( 5 ’ 2 ”), the regular size 6 fit fine. The sleeves were just a bit long, not too long. I ’ m extremely happy with my new coat!

[ I 'm quite impressed with this jacket so far. It does fit a smidge big for a large but I like that because I can wear a nice heavy sweatshirt under it and still have room to be active. It has nice big pockets that you can stick a gloved hand in with ease and it covers you very well when fully zipped up. So far( I 've had it about 3 weeks) everything has been up to my standards and I truly love this jacket. It's very comfortable. Zippers seem to be great quality and it seems like a lot of thought went into it when making it. It was about 15 degrees f yesterday and I was standing on a frozen lake for about 8 hours. Pretty hard cross wind and I was warm as could be with only a t - shirt and sweatshirt under it. I highly recommend this coat for anyone looking for a nice warm coat.

[ The best cold weather gear ever!!!!! I walk every morning, single digit weather...... warm and toasty in this great jacket. This is the best jacket I have. I would give this 20 out of 10 stars!!!!!

[ Really nice coat - very warm under sub 30degree temps, haven ’ t had chance to test at lower but am sure it will do great. Well designed, pockets appropriately spaced. Highly recommend.

[ I wanted a coat that was lightweight, trendy and warm. This coat checks all the boxes. I have had so many compliments on it! I love the two way pockets. You can put things in the pockets with flaps but also put your hands in the side and warm them in the fuzzy lining. I got a great deal in it and am so happy with it!

[ One of the best jacket owned so far. Lightweight, warm, stylish and adapt to many styles. Shields from the wind and covers without being bulky. I got a Small which allows room for a big sweater or a light jacket if needed. I wore it with the snow and stayed warm, even in cold mornings or evenings( - 8 C). Bought with sales and highly recommended!

Wonderful coat! Am 5' 2 '' and under 115 lbs, chose XS and am very pleased. In 20 - degree weather I wore a thin long sleeve cotton tshirt and lightweight synthetic sweater - and was plenty warm! The hood is ample with a cozy furry lining, there are nice pockets, the fit is generous and it can either be worn straight, fashionable these days, or cinched at the waist for a more contoured look. I bought the cream color as a change from black and it's a rich neutral shade. Overall it's an excellent jacket, recommend.

[ Appreciate Columbia offering more “ regular fit ” coats. Great for my apple shaped body. I ’ m usually an XL in the “ active fit ” coats and the sleeves and shoulders are always too big. I can comfortably fit a large in this “ regular fit ” coat and the sleeves are perfect length.

I bought this at the employee store. The shell feels like it has more texture and feels durable. Those things were obvious. The size is nice and roomy without being too bulky, It fits just right. I ca n't speak of cold winters just yet, but layering this with something under would be enough for me. The color is true to the picture. It has some good pocket verity.( small on the front, regular pockets on the side, and pockets on the inside. This is good jacket overall. Only way they could improve on this jacket is if they went with 700 fill.

Got this jacket today, looks pretty good! Quality is great! I love those side pockets! I 'm going to use it as everyday mild winter down jacket. The only thing: I see it's mentioned that 6' 1 is size M, but I would consider to choose L. M will fit, but imagine if you will want to put on a sweater under the jacket? It can be really tight.

Bought this 2 weeks ago for skiing. Keeps me warm even when the wind chill dips below 0. Very comfortable, very warm. Make sure to test wear at a store. I am 6' 1/170 lbs and the large was way too big for me. Medium fits very well despite my long arms.

I am not a skier but I wanted a jacket that would keep me warm and dry in very cold temperatures and winter precipitation. The day after I bought this I took a long walk along a country road wearing this jacket over a t - shirt with temperatures in the mid - 20s( F) that soon saw precipitation in the form of wind - driven light snow and sleet. I was amazed at the cozy, comfortable feel this jacket provided. I will never second - guess this purchase - love this jacket!

Good winter and low temp jacket. Its longer and a tad baggy/active since its made for riding, so take your normal size and layer underneath for really cold days. It's super comfortable and will keep you warm and dry. Hood is definitely a little too Raph, it's made for riding with a helmet on, so its too big for casual wear but I knew that would be the case for any snowboard jacket so it does n't bother me.

I 've been itching for a cold day ski jacket. This baby is perfect. On the roomy side, super warm, windproof, good style. All the right pockets. Love it. I 'm 5'10 '' 210 pounds and large fits without any restriction and room for a mid layer.
