Just the right bagginess to be comfy at home, skating, lounging, or running errands. Great improvements from last year. I liked the trail sender shorts from last year and these improve on the previous version in several ways. First, the best thing about the previous version is the ultra lightweight ripstop fabric and how well it performs in hot weather- the only comparable pants I ’ ve found in weight are the Patagonia Terrebonne joggers, and these are somehow feel even cooler in hot( 90+ F) humid weather. The new 2024 version feels like it has the same fit, but improves on some annoyances from last year: 1. The waistband is slightly elastic, which is more comfortable from previous near 0 stretch 2. The pockets are deeper and the zip pocket has been moved from the front thigh to the side hip. This is a big improvement where your phone no longer barely fits in the pocket or runs up against your hipbone when sitting 3. The construction feels higher quality and more premium. Too early to tell on how durability will compare but definitely feels like it ’ ll perform better Very happy with all the changes made!

6' 0 '' 155 lbs( ie thin frame) male and bought a medium which fits great in length( reaches the top of the ankles) and waist( though elastic in waistband feels a little lose and requires use of drawstring). bought for running in sub- freezing weather. normally run in tights when ≤ 40°, but decided to give this a try for when air temp or wind chill is below freezing to keep the legs a little warmer. done intervals, tempo, and easy runs and these feel great: not too loose nor too restrictive in the legs or crotch. perfect tightness on calf when zipped: tight enough to not ride up and loose enough to not constrict. not crazy about the cross- over- in- the- waist- band drawstring as it made tying the drawstring difficult. both side pockets are zippered; good enough for small, lightweight things( eg keys, ID card), but not a phone.( disclosure: i did n't use the pockets as i use a flipbelt for key, ID, and phone).

[ Perfect match of Fit and Function! As a long legged 5' 8 '' 170lb 68 year old I am done with comprimise and being pinched in the middle. The pictures do not do these pants justice. With the leg drawstring open, these pants cover my ankles and look smart, not just sporty. The pockets are divine and do not gap when not in use. Purchased several( at least, 5 each over time) pairs for my sons, 20 and 22. They grew up in the comfortable and unrestricted wearing of the basic track pants with lines down the sides and continue to refuse blue jeans. It is time for a better look! And these pants fit the bill! The ease of washing and keeping clean is a huge plus. I( mom) am also glad for the zippered pockets! Only con, they are a little short as far as I am concerned- but the boys could care less. They love them!
