Kids go to a camp in CO where it rains a fair amount so rain pants are on the required packing list. This was the pair they had this year and they loved them. They were great because they were light weight and easy to pack. In terms of water protection they were as good as any of the previous ones they have used. These pants fit me perfectly! I find them to be the perfect length and due to the open hem, I believe they would work well with most heights. I sized down in these based on reviews. I usually wear a MD pant with Free Fly, but I am glad I sized down. They are `` fitted '' by sizing down, but no uncomfortably. Does not pull with sitting and I can tell they are already relaxing with wear, so I am happy I did size down. I think a MD would end up looking a bit looser than I would like with thise style of pant. I love the Canyon Clay color and the cotton is so soft and comfortable. Another great product from Free Fly!

I had the grey in a L but it was a little big so I bought a pair of the black in M... there is quite a difference in sizing. M is a bit snug. Since I like the original I 'll keep the M and I also was able to order a L from another retailer that still had some. I use the M more for Yoga when I do n't want to wear leggins.
