I have used them for golf, outdoor exercise and just outdoor chores around the house. They actually wrap around the leg nicer than I thought, as long as you wear them up a bit, they do n't look too baggy or anything. I 'm 6' 1 '' and the Medium is sort of just right. You might be able to size down, but I 'm glad I stuck with my usual size. I bought the matching shorts as well and they 're great, may eventually buy the matching sweater or hoodie.
