I was looking for a really low profile knee pad for street skateboarding( mostly at concrete and wood skateparks with a street layout). These things are amazing. I went down on my knees full force with her in my arms without feeling a thing and was able to keep her back and head off the ice at the same time. on another occasion I went down on my knees after catching my toe pick on a corner, bounced, and slid the rest of the way on my butt. Hightly recommended for figure skaters.

I was looking for a really low profile knee pad for street skateboarding( mostly at concrete and wood skateparks with a street layout). These things are amazing. Very low profile( they fit right under your pants or shirt) and they really take the sting out of a fall. I bought this for my daughter knee after her soccer games. The machine works well. It has a hot and cold mode with the compression. It is a little bulky and can be difficult to flex when the brace is in place. Also, it will tend to slide down when standing. It is overall a good machine, but a bit pricy for what you get.

[ I use compression boots almost every evening as a recovery tool, this was my first experience with a heating and cooling element- and a more specific area tool. First off the fit is excellent and highly adjustable. It comes with extenders if needed, but the overall size and build is perfect for my knee/leg. The Velcro is easy to adjust even while in use and overall easy to use. The settings are easy and intuitive, you can select compression level as well as cooling and heating preferences. I ’ ve used both on all settings and will use both for one recovery session. I ’ ve used before and after a workout and honestly love it for both, will most likely use it more after a workout or run- but would be open to using it before if I have pain or knee issue.
