I bought these boots last year for work. A couple of months ago I was at a customers house and stepped on a live wire for an old well pump. The wire was cut and sticking out of the ground an inch. This is the best fitting boot i have ever had in my 54 years of living. Seriously. The boot is actually water- proof too. i bought these about 6 months ago and love the boot. Versatile and comfortable for long working days. I know it says a hiker boot but it worked for me. Able to use them for riding horses. Keeps the feet dry and warm in winter. Nice long laces. BUT Waterproof did n't last past 5 months, and the seams are coming undone around the composite toe area.

I 've had this boot for a little less than a year and they have changed my daily life. These boots are of the upmost comfort and quality, hands down my favorite pair to throw on and let life take me to where I need to go. At first I was skeptical of such a modern take on the classic square toe, I have never owned a pair of derby boots or chelseas before this and they seriously go on the foot like a breeze. I work on my feet all day and never once did I experience blisters or cramps or any such ailment. The leather is quality and solid, something only Durango can provide. Their scuffed and mud crusted and yet they still have that classic leather smell like they just came out of the box. Love these boots, I went true to size though they are a bit more narrow than I 'm used to. I might order me a second pair in the wide to accommodate for thicker socks but ca n't recommend them enough.

I had a different brand of boots last me 2 month ’s and they blew out then I switched to Durango ’s and have been been wearing them for over 6 years. They ’ re super durable for all types of work. If you ’ re on your feet a lot that ’s okay cause they ’ re comfortable, if you ’ re in the saddle they ’ re fine also. With other brands I ’ d have the sole falling off that won ’ t happen with these boots. I keep buying more after a couple years just because I want new one not because they ’ re wore out.

I love these boots. They are the only ones that fit me correctly. I started wearing the Rebel in 2018. I work 14 to 16 hours a day in the oil field so they ’ ve lasted well for me. I ’ m ordering my third pair today. Someone posted pics of the stitching coming apart and the inner lining pulled out. Mine end their lives in the same manner but last nearly three years. Theses are my three year old boots that I ’ m replacing today.

These are the most comfortable and easiest to break in boots I ’ ve owned in 50+ years of cowboy boot ownership. I was a total R toe with leather sole devotee until I bought these square toe/ composite sole/ walking heel Durango boots. I wear them every day…. my R toe leather sole boots are now relegated to the back of the closet. No comparison in comfort and fit. All of my boots make that nice “ whoosh sound ” when putting them on… However the Durango boots are so much more comfortable for all day wear( and go whoosh). Great padding/ insert. Great traction via sole design. These have changed my perspective on what a cowboy boot should be. Awesome boots! I bought 1/2 size larger than I usually wear, YMMMV.

My favorite boot style! This is my second pair and the color on these is perfect. My first are my daily wear shoes for work as a large animal vet assistant and I put 4 to 10 miles on them every shift and am on my feet 9- 11 hours a day. These boots hold up great and keep me comfortable and protected all day long. They are super comfortable in the stirrups as well and provide a lot of support even when posting the trot.

Nice boots. I always order a wide in a cowboy boot and have several pairs of Rebels in wide. These are WIDE and the toe area is really, really tall. Like wiggle your toes and not touch the top tall. I am not sure why these fit so much different than all my other Rebels but they do. To solution, I added another insole on top of the non- removable insole already in the boot( this was also a first as all my other Rebels have a removable insole). I am still happy with them, but they certainly fit different. Additionally, they are substantially darker brown than the pictures would indicate. I hope this helps someone!
