This is my third pair of Carhart's 6 '' Soft Toe Work Boot. I love them. They are tough, long lasting and comfortable. I use them for my everyday foot wear except dress occassions. I even take my daily four mile walk in them. I hike in them and hunt in them. For me, they are the best boot I have every owned in terms of quality. When properly maintained, they are water repellent. This would n't have been my third pair if I was n't completely sold on this Carhart product.

[ Like everything danner makes it is great leather. I rock a 13 wide in sneakers and got a 12 wide for this boot. It fit snug at first especially around the top arch of the foot. After about two weeks of breakin they are comfortable but tight enough to provide appropriate traction. I think after a couple months of molding they will be on the top for comfortability.

I keep track of my miles and I have just over 1000 miles on these boots so far in extremely harsh conditions. The boots fit me well( run a little big, but not a con) and the inner sole is almost heavenly. I work in a warehouse where i stand on concrete 8 hours a day. I normally add an extra insert for added support, but there really is no need for these boots. While mainly for work, i definitely want to get the most out of these boots, but i must say that these particular boots i have are not cut out for hiking. Not a con in the least bit, though a bit of a bummer in the long run. So after spending about 40 hours over a few days in these boots, i am very happy with my georgia boots.

I almost exclusively wear 8 ”- 10 ” work boots; it drives my wife nuts. I own many different brands and try to keep with US made products. This USA Georgia Boot Logger is built like a dang tank, but rides or feels like a Cadillac once broken in. The comfort core footbed is different for sure, but it is very comfortable. Because they ’ re multiple layers of leather, break in does take some time, but it ’s not terrible. I do own 3 pairs of this boot and rotate them out. These are very comfortable boots.. They fit and feel like sneakers but have great ankle support. I do busway work for power plants, which requires a lot of climbing and crawling and these boots have held up very well over the past three jobs( total of almost six 70- ish hour work weeks) so far with no signs of degradation. They are lightly insulated for the waterproofing, so I think they could get a little warm for the hot and humid months.

I had a pair of Carhartt boots prior to these and the carhartts only lasted 6 months. I 've had these Timberland Pro's for almost 3 years now. They break in fast, comfortable to walk in all day. They 're really warm in the winter, not too hot in the summer. Very good water proofing. Slip resistant is very good for oils, hydraulic fluid, fuel, aircraft de- ice fluid. There are only 2 complaints I have; the oem laces are complete trash and so are the oem insoles. The soles lasted me only 8 months and laces tore in like 6 months. Buy better insoles and Kevlar laces. I 've dropped parts& tools on my foot and did n't feel a thing. These are also really good boots for welding and using cutting torches. 10/10 must have boot for mechanics. UPDATE 7/20/24: the boots are STILL GOOD AFTER 4 YEARS of daily abuse in all climates and conditions. These are the only work boots I will buy the rest of my life. UPDATE 11/23/24: The boots lost their waterproofing. Ordered a new pair. I will forever only buy these Timberland Boondock boots!!

These boots are ok, just not what I thought they were. The leather in the pic seems to be the softer suede type material, but they are actually the slick type of leather that is very stiff. They do not have the broke- in feeling right out of the box. Because they are stiff it's not that easy to lace them up tightly. The sole seems very comfortable, but I do n't think I 'll keep them.

boots are comfortable. This is my 2nd pair of Georgia 6 in. Boots. Previous pair came with 57 in. Laces, which didn ’ t allow me to lace to the top of boot. Had too replace with a 60 ” lace. Which works better “ could ’ ve used a few more inches to be right. My newest pair came with even shorter laces. 55 in.. which is obviously worse. This is not a good place to scrimp on qaulity for such a good boot.

Worth the money, for me they lasted little over than a year but I work 12 hour shifts between 40- 60 hrs a week in a recycling plant in AZ and we are exposed to kinda harsh conditions daily( dry/dusty areas and wet areas with puddles too), not too mention the +100 degree summer temps we get so they worked fine for me.
