This is my third pair of Carhart's 6 '' Soft Toe Work Boot. I love them. They are tough, long lasting and comfortable. I use them for my everyday foot wear except dress occassions. I even take my daily four mile walk in them. I hike in them and hunt in them. For me, they are the best boot I have every owned in terms of quality. When properly maintained, they are water repellent. This would n't have been my third pair if I was n't completely sold on this Carhart product.

Second pair of these boots. Wish they came in half sizes. We put an insert in them and they fit better though. Freest boot that fits snug to the calf without cutting off circulation. Important if you are weed whacking and don ’ t want a bunch of grass down your boot! Super comfy and keeps feet cooler than the cheap black boots. The size 10 felt snug out if the box with work socks but they broke in without problem( Redwing 9. 5) Good traction and stance on snow, ice and mud. Muck really knocked it out of the park with this boot. The fit is great, but the function is top shelf! If you ’ re riding in the winter and need a bit of warmth these are the only way to go. I can put my spurs on them. They slide in and out of a stirrup well. I really hope this becomes one of Muck ’s mainstay boots. It ’s really well built and well designed.

I have no intention of using these boots for riding or cleaning stalls. I will use them for Winter Walk and forays in the forests and beaches shooting( photography) wildlife. I took them out for our first snowfall walk. They are comfortable and warn. It was 20 degrees and I wore only a dress weight alpaca sock. My feet were never cold. There was plenty room for me to wear a heavier weight sock. I did encounter some wet spots along the marsh and my feet were totally dry. I will note that these boots do not have lug soles, so they were slick walking up snow covered steep slopes. This is not a knock on these boots for me. I have Yaktrax Diamond grips and Kahtoola Micro Spikes- both fit over these beefier boot. I love the ease of slipping into with the optional pull tabs( which I didn ’ t need to use.). The last pair of “ rubber boots ” I owned were snug to pull on. The liner is great. I ’ m sure these will be what the doctor ordered for my Winter Adventures. I wear 10. 5 Wide typically. The 11 and Medium width were perfect.

I bought these boots over a year ago. So far they have been pretty good. I work as a full time diesel technician and occasionally have to do landscaping and construction work and these boots have held up pretty well to everything I do. The oil, diesel, break cleaner, etc have not hurt the leather nor the stitches at all. I will say I am disappointed in the insoles, being that they only lasted me about 4 months. I have had to replace the insoles quite often but mainly because I do weigh about 255 lbs and have a very wide foot. Also the hook eyelet on my left boot broke after about 6 months as well. The water proof feature has been great even for being a lace up boot. I ’ ve been I some fairly deep water( nearly covering up the entire boot) and haven ’ t had any water go into these boots or the leather. All in all these boots have been a strong and sturdy boot for what I need them for. I ’ d recommend them highly since I haven ’ t had much issues with them besides the two mentioned and have found them super comfortable

here's how much i love these boots. for the last 2 decades they have been on a constant rotation: oldest to still- in- the- box. as the oldest worn- out pair rotate out into the garbage( after years), the next pair moves to oldest slot for really dirty work, and i open the box for the newest pair for general wear. as soon as that box is opened, i order the next box. so, i always have a ratty pair, a semi ratty pair, a new pair, and a boxed pair. they are everyday wear, work& non- work, on& off the motorcycle. highly recommend, obviously.

Not the MOST comfortable, but it is a more old school boot. Soles hold up incredibly well considering I walk on broken glass every day. I have had them for a couple have held up through rain, mud, dust, dirt, snow. They are water proof. My feet we ’ re slightly damp standing in torrential down pours for my job but after what I was in I doubt any boot is that waterproof…. They are starting to wear out though. I got these 2 years ago and yesterday I was at the beach with my wife. I wore these boots to the Santa Monica beach in CA. Before you ask, I hate sandals and shorts, I will not wear them. As I walked with my wife by the shore, I avoided the waves because I did not want my boots to get wet. Well, my wife was enjoying the ocean water when she thought it would be funny to hold me in place as the wave hit my boots. They got wet and submerged to about the 6 '' mark. My feet were dry. I was confused and surprised, they did not let any ocean water in at all. So I figured, why not and I pushed it further, with about 3 second intervals of waves, they survived. Until the water went above the 8 inch height and then my socks got wet, which is understandable. So I wanted to write a review because it deserved a review because it did a great job preventing water from getting in. It was kind of fun to be honest but the salt is not great afterwards.

Well first off these are Lightweight and at the end of the day you don ’ t feel like a horse shedding a saddle. They slip off and my feet feel great. I did put my arch supports in and these boots picked up where my other Georgia boots left off. The soles of the boots grip well on many surfaces and the tops have a nice feel and not too restrictive also. I ordered a half size bigger, since I wear wool soaks for added cushion on my feet. Now the only draw back is I wish they were a little narrower by a little. These feel like they are wide instead of a standard width. Again, my wool soaks help make up for some of the looseness but it is not a deal breaker by no means. Thus far for everyday work boots for someone who is on their feet a lot on concrete, these have done really well.

I have had these boots for 5 years. Humping through the snowy mountains of Vermont on the job. Taking them off and on tens of thousands of times in customers homes. They have gone under many houses, crawlspaces, and under porches. In knee walls and trenches. Put away so wet that my socks were soaked the next morning( step in knee high snow and any boot is gon na get wet). I 've only had to change the laces on one boot. All I ask is that my boots hold up to the abuse I put them through. I wore them untied during the summer even, and the backside of the inner heel has just started to wear through. Only on one side again! They are waterproof, durable, comfortable and dang if they do n't look good. I have n't even looked to buy a new boot since I got these and thank goodness I had n't rubbed off the tag yet. I hope they 're just as good 5 years later. I probably wo n't need a new pair until the end of this coming summer, still gon na stock up now!

This is my 3rd pair of Viscous. I personally like the 4. 5. The boot fits true to size. Plenty of room in the toe box. They last me a year and half to two years. I 'm an aircraft mechanic so not a ton of walking but on my feet for 12 hours and lots of flexibility needed. My favorite part is how light they are. I almost exclusively wear 8 ”- 10 ” work boots; it drives my wife nuts. I own many different brands and try to keep with US made products. This USA Georgia Boot Logger is built like a dang tank, but rides or feels like a Cadillac once broken in. The comfort core footbed is different for sure, but it is very comfortable. Because they ’ re multiple layers of leather, break in does take some time, but it ’s not terrible. I do own 3 pairs of this boot and rotate them out. Boot is very stable and have great traction and grip. I do wear other brands too, but this boot seems to be one of my go to, for sure. Georgia Boot knocked it out of the park with this one. I own 3 pairs, myself, and rotate them out. Great boot!

Built like a tank. QC for eyelets seems to be an issue though. Would normally wait a month before giving a review, but mild disappointment expedited this one. Eyelet broken straight out of the box. Not a deal breaker for me since it should not alter function, just easily avoidable so annoying. As a full- time tech, I 'm on my feet all day- working in all kinds of conditions- and these boots have held up incredibly well. I had a pair of Carhartt boots prior to these and the carhartts only lasted 6 months. I 've had these Timberland Pro's for almost 3 years now. They break in fast, comfortable to walk in all day. They 're really warm in the winter, not too hot in the summer. Very good water proofing. Slip resistant is very good for oils, hydraulic fluid, fuel, aircraft de- ice fluid. There are only 2 complaints I have; the oem laces are complete trash and so are the oem insoles. The soles lasted me only 8 months and laces tore in like 6 months. Buy better insoles and Kevlar laces. I 've dropped parts& tools on my foot and did n't feel a thing. These are also really good boots for welding and using cutting torches. 10/10 must have boot for mechanics. UPDATE 7/20/24: the boots are STILL GOOD AFTER 4 YEARS of daily abuse in all climates and conditions. These are the only work boots I will buy the rest of my life. UPDATE 11/23/24: The boots lost their waterproofing. Ordered a new pair. I will forever only buy these Timberland Boondock boots!!

I do busway work for power plants, which requires a lot of climbing and crawling and these boots have held up very well over the past three jobs( total of almost six 70- ish hour work weeks) so far with no signs of degradation. They are lightly insulated for the waterproofing, so I think they could get a little warm for the hot and humid months.

This is my 4th pair of Georgia boots. They are made well and hold up well for what I do. Also this pair is the Steel Toe version of my Soft Toe boots- 10 years a part you wouldn ’ t know the age difference if it weren ’ t for the Steel Toe. I have tried thorogoods, wolverines, and red wings all at 2- 3x the price of the boots, and these have consistently lasted longer for a much better price, the soles wear at a much slower rate and the leather does n't fall apart like others I have used. I do heavy construction and spend all my time in a machine or in the dirt and rocks and have been unable to find a higher quality pair yet.
