I always wear socks with casual shoes so no blisters but I did have to order a long shoehorn because the top of heel would always collapse when slipping my heel in. I love these slip on shoes. I did, however, originally order size 7. 5- my usual size in all Cerelle shoes and boots. However, I had to return them and size down to a 7. There is some give, and because of the slip on nature of the shoe I think they run a little bigger. But I love them- they ’ re stylish, and go with any kind of outfit. I really wanted a slip on boot for running to the gym, etc. I wanted them to be waterproof so they would last longer than a season and I was so thrilled when I saw these. They are a little stiffer to get on, but they come off very easy. I am so excited about them. I usually wear an 8. 5 in the regular boots, and a 9 in any of the snowboot type shoes Sorel makes. OMG I CAN NOT say enough about these boots.... I will be ordering them in all 3 colors. I had yet to find a hiking boot that didnt cause me foot pain, blisters, or hot spots.... until now. These fit my feet perfectly. The toe box is typically where i struggle with hiking boots- blisters and pain of the great toe and medial ball of foot. Even while breaking these in I did not experience either of these issues. I have tried SO many other brands without finding the right fit.... i resorted to hiking Montana's Mountains in luna sandals because i could not find a hiking shoe/boot that didnt cause foot pain.
