I purchased this machine for my kids to get an early start on the season during the winter months. I 've used it in doors and out. We used all types of balls they all work, you just have to re adjust the pitch location. I 've had it about a month and its been great. Tennis balls indoors!! For those that ca n't afford the cages it works perfect..

I have tried just about every machine ever made over the last 27 years of coaching Little League, Travel Ball and Ripken youth teams, baseball and softball. Without a doubt, for players 12 and under, this machine is by far the best machine for the price. Accuracy, consistency, and `` drop off the back of my pickup at 40 miles per hour '' tough, for$ 600 this machine is amazing.

I was skeptical at first. Machines like this usually sell for twice as much. I even called Jugs to get more info before I bought one. Its the real deal. Throws up to 50 mph and is incredibly accurate and stable( made of metal, not plastic). Great product.

Not one to write reviews, but I have to say that this product is solid. I am an assistant coach for coach pitch league for 7- 8 year olds. My head coach was out of town for the week and I am a terrible pitcher. Not to mention our kids were weak at bat. Luckily our fields are equipped with outlets. I had just previously bought and returned a red plastic pitching machine from another manufacturer that lacked accuracy so bad it actually hit my own kids several times so they did n't even want to use it. I was pretty skeptical, but hoping that this unit being more heavy duty would work. And after our first practice of 15 boys getting 25 pitches a piece the machine worked great. The only thing to watch out for is using balls with inconsistent size. If you are like me, you may not know that baseballs from different manufactures are not consistent in size. So a couple of boys had to take cover when a we used a couple of stray balls, but if we stayed with the same bucket than the pitches were always perfect strikes.
