This is exactly what it says it is. Perfect pitching machine for the smaller golf ball sized balls. My son and I hit wiffle golf balls before every game to get hes eyes on the ball. This machine is perfect for that, indoor or out door. I live in the Cleveland area so its pretty windy and this pitches through it no problem. I enjoy hitting off it as well. The balls have a true flight to them also, you can really hit them far. As accuracy goes its really like any other pitching machine you have to dial it in and it will occasionally throw some bad ones. Which I think is fine, you dont get perfect pitches when you step in the box.

I just got this setup and could n't be happier with it. Very consistent with the Jugs brand lite flight balls, not so much with the less expensive brands. I was paying$ 50 for 30 minutes so this will be paid off with 11 sessions.

Everything about this machine is 5 star. So good for teaching kids to hit live pitching. So much fun for backyard baseball. I am not sure who loves it more, the dad's or the kids. Also, jugs is such a top notch company. All of their products are over built in terms of quality. Their spare parts are cheap and easy to find when something breaks. I absolutely would n't but a machine from another brand. My one piece of advice is that the Jugs brand balls wear out quickly, are very expensive, and soak up water. We use Athletic brand foam balls and they work perfectly without the problems.

We bought this machine last year. It works great. We did have some issues with the feeder and had an inner tube go flat. You call the manufacturer and they actually answer the phone with great customer service. The lady I spoke to about the inner tube sent us replacements the same week. The feeder problem the gentleman I spoke to knew exactly what the issue was and waited on the phone until I made the adjustments. They REALLY stand behind their product

Bought this machine for my 16 year old son. It arrived fairly quickly and I was surprised at how easy it was to assemble. Took me and my son about 15 minutes. Once it was set up my son mentioned how sweet looking it is, very nice design. Started pitching to my son and could n't believe how accurate it was. We set up at a ball field at 60 feet and it was in the strike zone every time. Speed was nice too, had to keep it on speed 8 because any faster was too fast for my son. Overall, very happy with the machine. Did some pop flies and grounders for fielding practice and was again blown away at how easy it was to use. Definitely recommend this to anyone, and would n't need to spend money on more expensive machines.

Its a good machine at throwing up to 65, i do n't think we can get it to pitch 75 at 60 feet using regular baseballs. It works well for a 14u team. We move it to 55 feet and the speed is good enough for the 14u team.

A neighbor and good acquaintance of mine who plays for the St. Louis Cardinals bought one of these new Changeup machines. He told me it was the most effective machine he has ever used so I bought one for my sons. It is amazing how it throws change ups with a push of a button on a remote just like your car. You ca n't tell it is slowing down or speeding up. It is just like hitting against a pitcher in a game. The speed changes immediately in between pitches. Best money I ever spent to improve my kids hitting.

Just used it for the first time with my high school son. I was skeptical that the Changeup would somehow be telegraphed to the hitter. I thought for sure you could see the wheel slow down. I was wrong. I thought for sure you would be able to hear the motor slow down. I was wrong again. Finally, I figured the machine would take too long to adjust from Fastball to Changeup. Wrong for the third time. Hitting off this machine is just like being at bat in a game. When I played in high school and college, batting practice off machines became almost automatic. These balls are nice quality. They are solid with a slight squishy feeling. When used in the heater pitching machine they come out slower because of their weight. If they get wet or damp they are even slower through the machine. My not have enough velocity to make it farther than 10 feet when wet.( wet because the grass is damp) When dry they can go far enough to simulate a pitcher. Not perfectly but enough for back yard practice.
