My son was falling behind his team mates as I could n't pitch a baseball to him. We did some research and this was a great entry level machine for us. We got it for him when he was 9 and have used it for 4 years. He has out grown the speed, but it is great to angle up and shoot out fly balls. I also angled it down and we can shoot out grounders. Great machine and well worth the investment.

This is exactly what it says it is. Perfect pitching machine for the smaller golf ball sized balls. My son and I hit wiffle golf balls before every game to get hes eyes on the ball. This machine is perfect for that, indoor or out door. I live in the Cleveland area so its pretty windy and this pitches through it no problem. I enjoy hitting off it as well. The balls have a true flight to them also, you can really hit them far. As accuracy goes its really like any other pitching machine you have to dial it in and it will occasionally throw some bad ones. Which I think is fine, you dont get perfect pitches when you step in the box.

I just got this setup and could n't be happier with it. Very consistent with the Jugs brand lite flight balls, not so much with the less expensive brands. I was paying$ 50 for 30 minutes so this will be paid off with 11 sessions.

Everything about this machine is 5 star. So good for teaching kids to hit live pitching. So much fun for backyard baseball. I am not sure who loves it more, the dad's or the kids. Also, jugs is such a top notch company. All of their products are over built in terms of quality. Their spare parts are cheap and easy to find when something breaks. I absolutely would n't but a machine from another brand. My one piece of advice is that the Jugs brand balls wear out quickly, are very expensive, and soak up water. We use Athletic brand foam balls and they work perfectly without the problems.

This is the second blue flame pitching machine I ’ ve bought. The first was for my son when he was 6 years old playing single A baseball and the second just purchased for Christmas for my grandson. Wish I could have had a crystal ball all those years ago and I would ’ ve held on to it but definitely was a must have for kids just learning how to see a live pitch. Worth every penny.

These balls are nice quality. They are solid with a slight squishy feeling. When used in the heater pitching machine they come out slower because of their weight. If they get wet or damp they are even slower through the machine. My not have enough velocity to make it farther than 10 feet when wet.( wet because the grass is damp) When dry they can go far enough to simulate a pitcher. Not perfectly but enough for back yard practice.
