Did a plyometric session in these and they were great. Very cushioned and the carbon plate in the shoe gives good feedback. Kept my foot stable and secured. Bounding felt great in these. I have not competed in them yet, so we will see. I 'm usually a size 10. 5 but ordered an 11 because they do run small. The 11 was fine for me so I would n't worry about ordering a size up.

As a high school triple jumper I can say that this is the best triple jump spike on the market. I have tried other options and I can confidently say that if you do not have these spike you are at a major disadvantage in a competition. I have had 3 pairs and all of them are still in perfect condition to jump after 2 years I would recommend that you go a minimum half a size up if you would like them to fit snug. other than that I have no complaints about the fit. The cushion on the heel is in my option the best part about the shoe. It allows to be able to absorb the impact that face on the second phase of your jump while not taking away from that power that you can create on your first and last phase. The bottom plate of the shoe works exactly how you would want while performing your jump. the flat heal and aggressive toe design allow you to get the desired heel to toe movement that is so crucial in the triple jump. The carbon plate is very strong and helps create power in the third phase of the jump. In the next generation of the spike I would like to see firm feel of the toe much like the Adidas sp2 so that you can maximize the total push of that you are able to get in you last phase to drive you into the pit even farther.

These spikes were perfect for my son!! He is a size 14 in men and it is usually very difficult finding anything that fits him without going to an outlet. He is new to track and field and we thought we were all prepared until he came home saying he needed spikes. Of all things, I could n't believe we did n't think of that.... I mean duh lol! Immediately I went online, honestly I had very little faith that I would find anything. Literally immediately after typing Dick's came up WITH his size in stock AND the spikes were super fly( my son's word). Initially I got the size 15 because I thought that his normal size 14 would be narrow and tight on his wide flat feet. Nope- the 15 was too big. His coach told us that spikes have to be your size or fitted. So we got his normal size 14 and it's a perfect fit. They attend narrow nor do they hurt his feet. He wears them with socks and they 're perfect. He's also worn them without socks and we 're fine. He says the spikes feels funny when walking but that is ONLY because this is his first time wearing spikes, ever. Also they were delivered the next day for free and I ordered them after 5: 30 in the evening. I will shop at Dick's more often. Even customer service was great when I called to ask about the return policy for the size 15. They were not only on sale, but they came with the carry bag and the spikes and the spike tool( IDK what it's called). I did n't know all of that was in the box until he asked for help with the spikes lol. Great buy and I completely recommend the spikes and the company! Thank you!

Bought these boots for my son for the start of his new football season. Was well presented in a smart silver box. Inside was a blue bag with the nike logo to keep boots in if you do n't have a boots bag but would do for accessories also. The boots themselves were very light, and running my hand over the fabric, you could feel the grip from the textured surface. Once the boots where on he said they where very comfortable at the heel with the padding but a bit tight towards the toes. Returned and ordered a size up.

It ’s gets softer and moulds to your feet over several wears and personally find it much better fit than the mercurial as I have wide feet. The grip is a very balanced and enables better curve on the ball when shooting with both inside and outside of the foot. I had to get half a size bigger than I normally wear trainers as I found it being too much of a perfect fit with no ability to move my toes otherwise.

I ’ ve been searching for a pair of cleats that don ’ t cut my outside toes and because this uses the same soleplate as the first gx ’s it runs a bit wider in the toe box as well. I ’ ve tried all the new mercurial low top and high top lines with no luck other than bloody toes. Also tried the FG GX line and that soleplate also runs narrow. Since he outgrown his last pair in 2020, he has primarily ran through the complete Phantom elite line the last 4 years and always compared them to the hypervenoms. Since receiving these he ’s said they made up for all of the flaws of the phantom GT ’s and GX ’s. Also he complimented how the grip of the ball was better than the Hypervenom ’s which no clear he ’s tried ever came close to. Finally I am happy he ’s confident and satisfied with a clear that can provide what he needs… He wore a 9 in the GX elite start of fall and grew out of them by January so he started wearing my Hypervenom 3 ’s which are a 10. 5. We ordered him a pair of these lunar elites in a 10. 5 and his foot more skinny than full but hit gives him just enough room to grow through the summer and I ’ m sure we ’ ll be back on the market afterwards for fall. A feature I like as a parent is they have foam padding in the heel/achilles area! I thought that is an under- rated feature that adds to the comfort. We could not tell a weight difference between the Luna and the mercurial elite. Highly recommend!!!
