I 'm pleased that it came with sturdy straps and I did n't have to purchase them separately. Even though you can upgrade the straps, I feel as though the ones that are provided will work quite well for a long time. This Bear Burrito is longer and wider than the one I had originally, so it wraps you all the way up, I guess dependent on how much stuffing your filling in the burrito. This is my first hammock purchase and so far it's been incredible! I got the indoor hang kit and atlas straps. I officially have the coolest room ever both indoors AND outdoors. The PCT version of the doublenest is slightly smaller than the traditional doublenest which was a plus for me because I 'm only 5' 2 100lbs so that's slightly less weight to carry. Overall awesome and durable!!
