I purchased these bobber stops in both sizes offered. I prefer to place one bobber stop above my knot to prevent the bullet weight from damaging the knot, and one above the weight of im going to peg it. So far they have worked as described and securely stayed in place. I 'll buy more.

I bought these to go with my Thill slip bobbers, they grip the line and give you plenty of lead to pull the knot tight. Comes on a nifty little plastic tune to easily slip the stop from, onto your line. I keep a bunch of these.

These bobber stops work very well-- especially for rods with small diameter guiides that other bobber stops get stuck on. I find it's not even necessary to trim the string, which is recommended but hard to do. Just tie one on and leave the excess string on-- it saves work and does n't interfere with the functioning of the bobber stop. It also makes the bobber stop easier to see.
