Have used similar sinkers for years. Actively searched many bait& tackle stores as well as Dick ’s, Sports Authority etc. for these without success. Found some with fins, but not 3& 4 ounces. I use these for cut bait fishing from shore. They pick- up less weeds. I was really surprised that Eagle Claw is making the product and that Dick ’s is selling them. i have been using this rig in east TN for the past summer. you can use the 5 wire rig here but you can only use three hooks. i put two smaller swim baits on the top two wires without hooks and three larger baits with hooks on the bottom three wires. i have caught several 5 plus pound large mouths. this lure has been a blast while fishing in my future beach kayak.

A couple of years ago I switched over to Berkley Nanofil braid from regular monofilament. I love braid because it has no memory and I have never had a birds nest of tangled spinning line since I switched to Nanofil. However since braid is super slippery it is pretty difficult to tie a piece of monofilament to braid for a leader. I use a Palomar knot to attach the swivel to the braided line and I attach a piece of 10# to 15# mono, about 3' long, on to the other end of the swivel with an improved clinch knot.
