Have used similar sinkers for years. Actively searched many bait& tackle stores as well as Dick ’s, Sports Authority etc. for these without success. Found some with fins, but not 3& 4 ounces. I use these for cut bait fishing from shore. They pick- up less weeds. I was really surprised that Eagle Claw is making the product and that Dick ’s is selling them. Great product for casting from shore. Completely satisfied!

I purchased these to get to business quicker. Like we all know it takes a heavy pair or two sometimes to get the job done. Just one of these bad boys rigged up on your line will get you performing better in no time. Further casting, sinking like it ’s your job and getting the right length the 1st time can be the key to your stamina on the water. Buy a few packs, you ’ ll be happy you did.

Fishing sinkers with swivel are primarily used to help anglers achieve the desired depth while fishing. The swivel allows for smooth line movement, reducing the chances of line twist, which can be a common issue when using traditional sinkers. This combination is particularly useful in various fishing techniques, including trolling and bottom fishing.
Fishing sinkers with swivel are typically made from materials such as lead, which is favored for its density and ability to sink quickly. Some models may incorporate stainless steel or brass for the swivel components to enhance durability and resistance to corrosion. Understanding the materials can help you choose a sinker that meets your fishing needs and environmental considerations.
Choosing the right weight for fishing sinkers with swivel depends on several factors, including the type of fish you are targeting, water depth, and current conditions. Heavier sinkers are generally better for deeper waters or strong currents, while lighter options may be suitable for shallower areas or calmer conditions. It's important to consider your fishing technique and adjust the weight accordingly.
Yes, there are various styles of fishing sinkers with swivel designed for different fishing applications. Some are streamlined for trolling, while others may be more suited for bottom fishing or casting. Each style offers unique advantages, so understanding the specific conditions and techniques you plan to use can help you select the most effective option.
Fishing sinkers with swivel provide several advantages over traditional sinkers, including reduced line twist and improved bait presentation. The swivel allows for free movement of the line, which can enhance the natural action of the bait. Additionally, this design can help prevent tangles, making it easier to manage your fishing setup.
