I won 4 of the original flatcats on Twitter 2 years ago. I liked the grip, but it was n't ask tacky as I wanted it to be. When they released this version, I was thrilled. I actually went away from the flatcat looking for a different feel, but I just had to come back. I do n't think I 'll be leaving this anytime soon. If you 've played hockey, it's about the size of a hockey stick, which instantly brought me comfort when putting. It really helped me get my hands square. I still miss putts, but it's aim now. The grip is a little heavier than the original model, but it feels just solid, I love it and I ca n't say enough good things about this company. Thanks again, flatcat.

I ordered this because I have liked the feel of Flat Cat grips before, I just had a hard time adjusting to the shape they use. I prefer a pistol grip shape, this is not quite what I thought it would be. Somehow it is even better than expected its a little larger but very light the top of the grip is a traditional pistol grip shape, then it levels out into a flat front and slightly rounded underside. The grip also feels much tackier than the other Flat Cats I have used. I am looking forward to putting with the putter I built with this grip.

Purchased and installed the Flat large grip on my Cleveland FL Elevado, as I ’ d noticed some shakiness on the takeaway with the stock grip( which, I did like that grip a lot). The reverse taper helped with stability and… my first round with it, had six 1 putts( four of which were from 12- 15 feet) and nine 2 putts( the rest were 3 putts and it happens). Alignment, speed control, weight( being able to feel the putter head more than before) are… well it works as if magically and I ’ m sold. The grip smelled like chemicals( hoping that will go away), and was easy to install myself. Still putt- ing the lights out.
