I found an 80's era Ping B60 on eBay recently. It has the original, slim, OEM Ping putter grip, amazingly still intact! Problem- with my `` meat hook '' hands, I could n't hold onto it, if you know what I mean... Golf Galaxy has the midsize PP58 Ping grips( plain and full cord), and they are amazing! Very comfortable, very durable, and you do n't get that feeling like the putter was meant for a 10yr old boy, LOL... The techs knew of the Ping B60, etc... and quickly and easily, swapped the grips for me while I waited. This new PP58 with full cord is fantastic! I can grip it easily, and it provides a lot more `` feel '' to the putting stroke, much like my prized Odyssey White Hot does. In a nutshell: If you have a Ping putter( or like me, collect older Ping putters...) the new PP58 grips are the best you can buy! You wo n't be disappointed, believe me!

I have an old Ping putter that I love using and the grip was worn so much that the shaft was coming through the top of the grip and cutting my glove when I leaned on the putter. I bought a new putter but did not care for the grip so I went to GG to add a 2. 0 Super Stroke which is my putter grip of choice. The tech suggested since my new putter was a center shaft zero torque that I try the brand new offset Super Stroke 2. 0. From first glance this putter caught my eye. Being a lover of the Ping Anser design, I was in awe at the fact they ’ d introduce a blacked out version of it. However, if looks helped putts drop to the bottom of the cup this review would be over, but the putter is phenomenal! I feel like putting is a strong suit of my game, but since this addition to the bag I feel like my putting has reached a whole new level. Absolutely thrilled I pulled the trigger on this thing!

5
PutterBuyer
This is going to be a bit of a roller- coaster but that's what we get when buying$ 450 putters to fix our game. First off, I have bought and returned this putter 3 times. I have really loved it and then naturally blamed it for putting 38 times in a round and promptly returning it to the store. My Arccos will tell you that the 2 rounds I have used it were actually better than my avg strokes gained. We are talking 8. 7 and 4. 2 strokes gained. The SB2 has a better feel than my Phantom and Link1. I am more confident with it and as I actually practice with it I feel like it lines up very well. Green reading is a natural issue and unfortunately this putter doesnt have eye balls or the ability to tell me to not do the opposite of what I just said I was going to do. It does get that ball rolling on that line and if its off center a bit its gon na still go where you wanted it. Most importantly here. My wife said that she liked this putter the most. Imagine buying this putter knowing you will like it and that your wife will just love it. Talk about being thoughtful and putting her first in your purchases.

This putter is basically automatic. I also own a Spider Tour X that cost me an arm and a leg more than this Ping Scottsdale Anser 2D and I have to say it is a dead heat as to which one I like better. In hindsight, I would have saved the money for something else and just gone with the Ping. The insert on this is magical, and feel is off the charts. Basically, feels like a softer milled face putter, and the balance and weight is superior to the many other putters I have tried. As always, the design and materlals used by Ping are top notch-- shaft made in Japan( likely by Nippon or Fujikura), head is made in Vietnam, and it's all assembled in the good ole US of A. Ping designs and materials are unmatched. You get more than what you pay for! Who needs a$ 400+ putter when you can snag this at under$ 250?!

Good entry point into center shaft putters. I ’ ve putted the best I ever have a month after getting this putter. I ’ d recommend getting a ping blackout or cord grip for more control. Everything feels more aligned, the only complaint I have is the face. It ’ ll take you a week or so to get used to the sweet spot, comes off the face slow if you hit the ball with the bottom lip.

Chris2011
Bought the Tyne C having played a Golo S5 for several years. All personal opinions here, but I love the fang shape, and I really like how the lack of a white line forces me to square up the face using the fangs. My putting has improved, confidence gained. It offers some forgiveness, too. I 've had a couple of poor strikes that were n't disasters- perhaps thanks to the insert. The feel is okay, not wonderful, but it is what it is. Was between this and the Cleveland 11C, another great choice.
5
SoWeGolfing_Ping_Tyne_C
I 've been dabbling with blade putters for the longest time. I 've tinkered with the Scottsdale lineup in different stores and really enjoyed the center shafted Tyne C model. This was definitely a better feel than my Scotty and my putts felt like they were going straighter than ever before! The only thing that is tricky is the distance control from 40- 50 ft out. I had zero issue w/ my Scotty on this but I 'll take the trade off for accuracy and learn the distance control soon.

I replaced a 20+ year old blade putter with this and I ’ m glad I did. It took a little getting used to initially, because it ’s a zero torque, the shaft is longer than a standard shaft and the grip is long. I had to rework my hand position and stroke force. Balls leave the face with very little effort. Once I got used to it I drastically improved my putting game. I highly recommend this putter!

Standard putter grips are designed to provide a comfortable and secure hold, which can enhance your putting performance. They often feature a balanced design that helps with alignment and stability during your stroke. Additionally, the right grip can help reduce wrist movement, leading to more consistent putts.
Choosing the right size for a standard putter grip is crucial for comfort and control. Generally, grips come in various diameters, and the right size depends on your hand size and personal preference. Testing different grips can help you find one that feels comfortable and allows you to maintain a relaxed grip during your putts.
Standard putter grips are commonly made from rubber, foam, or synthetic materials that provide a good balance of comfort and durability.
