There are no painful areas you sometimes find with sandals where the strap rubs your foot funny. These sandals look really sharp and are comfortable for several hours, but they lack the cushioning to be comfortable for all day use, in my opinion. The footbed does not have much squish and is rather firm, so you 'll find your feet getting tired if worn walking about for 4+ hours. Still love these sandals.
