I ’ ve had these for 3 years in my basement for my rack and are durable to an extent. I wouldn ’ t recommend slamming 45+ pound dumbbells on them unless they are rubber. Doing deadlifts 225+ pounds is fine but I would say support it with shock tiles. I would recommend sweeping or vacuum it often since it ’s common sense to keep the floors clean. I haven ’ t had much problems with them besides the strong odors but that ’s what RUBBER smells like when it ’s still fresh. Matter of fact, that ’s what a gym smells like. Overall, best mats I ’ ve used so far.

I needed a heavy duty solid vinyl mat for under my elliptical. I had one for years that was described as heavy duty vinyl, but also had a foam component. Well, my kitten learned he could bite chunks out of the foamy top layer. It was hard to tell from product descriptions which ones were solid and which had a foam component. My only complaint is it ’s just barely the width of the tent, if they could make the dimensions a little larger it would be nice. I found the sides of my tent to be a little wet.
