I have purchased and used Mountain House food for many situations including hiking, camping and emergencies such as power outages caused by weather. This is my go to food because it has good storage life, lightweight and convenient to prepare. I find the taste and texture to be as good as it gets when fresh foods are not as reliable or available. I ’ ve taken on long and high adventure camping such a being flown into a lake in Alaska and left for a week or more and the weight of a weeks amount of food limits other alternatives. Also easy to have available for quick trips where the food source may be uncertain. I keep some on hand for potential emergencies such as being with out electricity after a devastating storm. It gives me good peace of mind and one less thing to worry about for day trips hiking or hunkered down for bad weather. I also like the taste of all entries I ’ ve used including the Alfredo and I believe Mountain House to have the most consistent product with a huge variety. I ’ m glad Mountain House has been has committed to consistency, variety and high quality. I highly recommend for outdoor camping, hiking etc and also for its nice long shelf life so as to not having to worry about waiting for an emergency whereby potentially you can not get to a store or the store is out. This is a five star standard product by which others are compared to. And there ’s lots of products that would like to be a competitor. Highly recommend for all the above reasons.

The backpack has a front pocket, pouch on the side, a flat pocket in the cover, bungy cord on the other side, zipper cover, and a top cover. It is 10- 1/2 inches wide and 13 '' deep and 6 '' from front to back. The outside material seems very durable with the side is the cooling material. I still would put an ice pack in the bottom. Nice to take for a day trip.

[ I put Oniva's OTG Traverse Cooler backpack to the ultimate test by using it while hiking in Zion National Park. I carried 6 water bottles, snacks, sunscreen, plus an ice pack. It was heavy but it got the job done. On the side there is a bungie cord that is suppose to hold stuff but I found that whenever I sat down the backpack it would put out. I also took the backpack to the beach and carried 8 cans and a couple water bottles, all the beverages stayed cool.

[ I like everything about this product. The functionality of this carrier is fabulous. Red and black checker print is beautiful I love that it has double compartments sometimes I use the bottom part for the casserole and the top For paper plates and utensils or other things. It kept my food warm for several hours. If I ’ m carrying two casseroles or heavy stuff on top I usually cut a piece of cardboard and put aluminum foil to fit on the bottom of the top compartment to make it a little stiffer. Very well made!!

[ Selected this thermal carrier because my husband bbq's a lot and wanted something to use for when whatever chosen meat he was currently cooking was finished and was in the resting period of the cook. So now when his tri tips are finished cooking he puts them in a Pyrex cooking dish, covers it in foil and places it in the thermal carrier. Works like a charm. Then after it's done resting he can cut it up and keep it warm in the carrier when serving.

I bought the 3 cup Stanley pet bowl as a water bowl and my little dogs love it. It is the right size for them and it keeps their water cool and fresh. It is a breeze to clean. It is heavy and sturdy enough thanks to its stainless steel material to keep it in place and not sliding around when they drink from the bowl. The lid can be used under the bowl to keep it in place or as a cover when traveling. Great design and excellent product. I will be buying another one when they are restocked.
