I love that the knife storage is conveniently located in the cheese board. The slate comes off for easy cleanup which will keep the wood looking nice over time. The ONLY issue I have found with this set is that when opening the drawer for knife storage, the stain of the wood is n't covering the entire drawer. You can tell it was stained after the drawer was inserted into the board, which I find off. It makes the set look cheap and unfinished. Luckily, that part can be hidden for most of the time so it's not too big of a deal.

It is made of Acacia wood with a stone slate center. The slate is what gives the cheese board some nice weight. The knife storage is located inside the cheese board. The gold knives are very elegant, with nice designs. The wood finish is great on the exterior, however the pull out knives holder drawer is not stable and does not come out smoothly.
