Putting these shoes on is like sliding into a warm bath. Spend the extra money for the leather it's definitely worth it. My last pair of Footjoys lasted me 25 years. The only reason I stopped wearing them was because the soles came off. The only small complaint I would have is getting the fit just right. I went back and forth between a 12 and an 11 1/2 for over an hour and finally settled on a 12 but wore them once and now I 'm thinking they 're a little loose on the back. I may have to return them for size 11 1/2. I hear Footjoy has a 30 day return policy. My experience with Footjoys is they are the number on e shoe in golf for 1 reason. Quality

I ’ ve used my new shoes four weeks in a row. The sizing is accurate, I wear a 12. The fact that they flex and have some stretch makes it comfortable for me because I have a bunion. A leather sided shoe would be uncomfortable but these move with me. The soft spikes make it easy to walk off the course and not slip in the locker room, the Restaurant, or just to wear them home. They also slip on and off much easier than a leather shoe. This is my second pair and I will continue buying this style in the future.

I bought this shoe because I had previously used the FJ Contour Jogger golf shoe that had the same sole. The Contour casual has the same benefit of the excellent gripping sole( without spikes) and also the ability to go car to pro shop( not wearing out golf cleats). The leather on this shoe is amazing and if you 've owned FJ before, you know to buy something when it's available because there's always the poss of things changing in future years with sytle etc. The functionality of this shoe is A++, the quality is A++, the durability is A++. I can not speak for waterproof quality as I have not worn the shoe in wet conditions, but FJ has always warrantied thier products well and so I think that will be A+ as well.

I got 4 or 5 seasons out of my previous Foot Joy shoe, the Helix D. N. A., so I was only buying Foot Joy this time. Seeing as I knew I wanted another pair, and that I wanted to replace them with a top of the line version, the FJ Pro/SLX Carbon's were my top choice. I have worn them about 4 times now, and feet feel fresh after each use, not tired. They come standard with Orthopedic insoles, so I have yet to buy a pair of Pine Valley Orthotics, like I had with my DNS's. For me, these are the perfect shoe. Great looks and great comfort. I bought this last month and they are so comfortable I purchased a second pair. They not only look good but feel good for feet that have miles on them. I have bunions on both sides of my right foot and one on my left; toe box is spacious to accommodate. The shoes give a lot of support and look fantastic.

I went to the golf galaxy store and tried on about 10 different shoes( they have great selection in store) and these were the most comfortable pair for me. I wore them the first day to walk 18 with no issues and received a few complements. I ’ m between sizes and found the larger size more comfortable. For the price these are an excellent shoe. I bought the navy.
