I played the G430 Max for about a year or more and switched to the G430 SFT. I found it more forgiving. I turned around and bought the 440 Max because it had a draw setting not present in the G430 Max. I returned it after a couple of weeks and exchanged it for the G 440 SFT. I have been extremely pleased. Although I play a draw and do n't slice too often, I still like to eliminate the potential. I do n't necessarily need to or want to `` work '' the ball and if I know my drives are going to go straight, slight draw or at worse weak fade, that works for me. The G 430 Max and G 440 Max definitely allowed the occasional slice.

I have always had a great respect and admiration for Ping as a company and its products! Started with Eye2 and the Zing back in the day. I have had many different Ping products over the years all incredible performers. However I could never get along with the drivers. They either had a look or sound that wasn ’ t appealing or they didn ’ t perform for my swing too much spin, floaty trajectory with no penetration. So for the last almost 4 decades I ’ ve played drivers from various manufacturers recently playing Cobra ’s and Callaway ’s. I ’ m 63 and a competitive golfer. However I was starting to show the effects of age. Swing speed slowing, launch lowering and on our course which is usually soft that was a bad combination. Time to do something. Enter the G430LST! I had heard so many good things about the G430Max10K and its older brother the G430LST that when the opportunity came up to get one at a good price I reluctantly took it. I wasn ’ t really expecting much but was I in for a shock. Right out of the gate the ball jumped off the face with a ferocity I hadn ’ t seen in years. The flight was piercing and landed with the perfect trajectory to maximize roll. Mishits were straight with just a minimum loss of distance and direction. What surprised me the most was the sound! It sounded like a driver instead of an out of tune glockenspiel! Normally a good drive in the past would carry about 240 averaging in the low 230 ’s. Immediately I was averaging in the mid to high 240 ’s with a good drive carrying over 250. Since then I have been working on speed with the Stack system and my good drives are mid 260 ’s. Hopefully carrying 270 by spring. All of this with more fairways hit. Ping! I ’ m back!

For the last 5 years I have been using a Cleveland Launcher( MFG date 2003?) and I hit it extremely well. My golf buddy recently bought a Cobra F9 and asked me to try it and to my astonishment I drove the ball farther with his club than I do with my own club SO I started looking for a newer driver. This Srixon looked like it was the closest match to the Cleveland Launcher. I was a little concerned when it arrived because the shaft is stiffer than the Fukishira stiff shaft on my Launcher but, those concerns disappeared the very first drive I used this Srixon on- my golf league started on the back 9 and I nearly drove the 10th hole!! I own a G425 Max driver but traded in some other clubs to get the G430 Max 10k. It came with a Hzrdus 60g shaft, but I found that the 55g Alta CB from my G425 felt better and hit straighter. Feel and Distance are similar to the 425 but off center hits have a tighter dispersion with the 430 max10k. I do n't live near a fitter so it was fortunate that I had the other shaft. Fitting is very important especially with driver. This club wo n't be great for you if you are n't fit properly.

At age 76 I was fitted for the Elyte 12 degree driver set at 11 degrees neutral. The driver performed better than expected at the course in distance and accuracy. I previously hit lower trajectories with a fade and roll out. First time using it on the course I hit 254 yards with a very slight draw and a center cut fairway. Throughout that round and subsequent rounds the driver continues to exceed my expectations in distance, accuracy, solid feel and I can control the trajectory in windy conditions. With 4 rounds under my belt I upped my average to 13 out of 14 fairways hit and gained almost 15- 20 yards distance.

I am about a 15 handicap and was previously using a Titleist TS2 that I could never quite get used to. I rented the Qi10 Max a few different times while traveling and it just “ felt right ” as soon as I started to play with it. Now that the newer models are out, the Qi10 fell within my price range and I ’ m super happy with it after playing a few rounds. The reputation is well earned as it is super forgiving, as my mishits still get plenty of distance. I also feel like I get a better arc on the drives than with my previous driver. I know that many characteristics are simply subjective, but this driver gives me confidence when I ’ m standing over it. If you can snag one of these on sale, I don ’ t think you ’ d be disappointed! Got my new clubs on the day they were released after pre- ordering. Switching back to Ladies flex from Senior Flex following injury and surgery. The driver has a light feel, but does not feel whippy at all. Adjusted it to 10 degrees and got good distance and nice ball flight.

Purchased this driver and it is super forgiving, solid on mishits and golf balls fly a long way! Being a smaller sized head, it looks very good at address and lines up perfect. Ping have been known to make the best drivers, and they definitely nailed it on this one!

I recently got the Ping G440 LST driver 9* with a Ventus TR black 6X shaft. My swing speed is around 115 and I play to about a 5 handicap for reference. I had been gaming the Callaway AI Smoke TD with same shaft. I had always enjoyed Ping woods in the past but had strayed away from them in the past 3- 4 years. I am so happy I went back. The feel of this driver is great. For a “ low spin ” head, it is very forgiving. Simply as I can say it, it is easier to hit. If you ’ ve liked Ping before or are considering it now, this driver is legit. I have the 4 wood ordered also and I am looking forward to hitting it.

Purchase this Driver if you want to hit longer drives( 25+yards). The best feature of the Driver is the ability to hit very accurate drives! Went with a 8 degree xtra stiff shaft, and golf is so much more fun now. More fairways hit, miss hits still keep me in play with short chips in. Can ’ t ask for a better all around driver that sounds good, feels good, and looks phenomenal. Actually tested this vs the Qi35 before purchasing and my personal dispersion was tighter with the Qi10. 10/10 recommend.
