I got these and a couple days later went( winter) salmon fishing. I wore thin wool sanitaries under, then your Sock Liners, then thick wool socks. I wore size 13 insulated Muck boots on my size 11 feet. My feet stayed warm and dry all day! I left them on the low setting and they lasted all day. I wish I had done this years ago.

These socks are warm even without the heat on. I use them hunting and only have needed the heat on in the very cold hours in the morning and evening In Wisconsin, and the low setting has been enough. I have lots of heated clothing. I even wear around the house, heat the person not the room. It can be worn with something over top to keep the heat in. Prefer vest to full sleeve coat for that reason. This one is especially nice because it heats the neck too, which is an area of the body that loses a lot of heat.
