I 've used these for the last 4- 5 full rounds, plus a lot of putter practice and testing. I can objectively say based on some on- course testing and some putting green testing that my strokes- gained is better for both ball- striking and putting with this ball over the 2023 Pro V1( yellow) or the regular 2023 yellow Maxfli Tour. My driving is better, wedges are better, and most importantly for my overall scoring based on how I 've played the last year, my iron play with these is vastly improved. Just played my 2nd full round with these balls after having played the standard Tour since 2021. The feel is very similar to the Tour, though it definitely feels softer off the putter. For me it performed amazingly. I have had trouble controlling shots into the wind in the past and switching to the Tour S definitely helped me keep the ball lower and not balloon so much. I love the Alignment as well, its very similar to the Callaway Triple Track, but I do like the black lines. Another plus about the Maxfli balls is they are easy to find, both in the stores and on the course. Every dicks and golf galaxy I visit always has them in stock, and many golfers do n't think to try them so usually when I find a Maxfli on course I know its mine. Very good, very underrated balls

Tried the S ball recently. Usually play the Tour X. Both are great, but wanted to try the lower spin S to find more fairways with the driver. Recently in a trackman simulator tested 2023 Maxfli Tour, 2025 Pro V1 and 2025 Maxfli Tour S. The 2025 S almost as soft as the Pro V1. Carry and ball speed better than the Maxfli Tour 2023 and on par with with the Pro V1. 66 years old, driver swing speed 92 mph. Maxfli Tour S is perfect. However, very disappointed they removed the dot for 2025. Bad move. Bad decision. That was iconic for the Maxfli. However, the Maxfli Tour S the performance and cost is the perfect ball.

I find the Chrome Tour and Chrome Tour X play pretty similarly outside of 150 yards and after that I start to notice the extra spin, and really notice it around the greens. I like the TruTrack version for seeing how the ball reacts around the greens.

I recently purchased the Callaway Chrome Soft golf balls from Golf Galaxy, and I ’ ve really enjoyed playing with them. The feel of these balls is amazing, especially around the greens, where they provide excellent feedback and control. They also feel great off the putter, which is a big plus for me. While I didn ’ t notice significant improvements in distance compared to other golf balls I ’ ve used, the Chrome Soft delivers on its promise of low spin and consistent performance. It ’s comparable to the TaylorMade Tour Response in terms of feel, but I felt the Chrome Soft had slightly lower spin and equally solid driving distance.

My gamer has been the ProV1x primarily for its spin and higher flight. However after reviewing several reviews of the Chrome Tour X, I decided to give the ball a try. Glad I did, the Chrome Tour X has been a great ball for me thus far( 8 rounds). Great feel off the putter and spins well around the green. Approach shots have been great with the ability to shape the shot. Ball flight is also to my preference hitting the window I like to give me confidence in my shot. Off the tee the ball has great distance. So far I have had a great experience with the new Chrome Tour X; out of bunkers I haven ’ t noted any more scuffs as compared to the ProV1x. I will say that this is Callaway ’s best ball design as of yet, well done!

Great Ball. I tried the Chrome Tour last year, and I was over- spinning it, but this ball was the remedy to that. Could hold the wind well and the ball still turns over, just not as much the Tour( have n't tried the X). Felt firm enough for me and rolled well on the greens.

Unbelievable balls. The Chrome Tour TD spins less than CT and CTX off the driver and stays remarkably straight down range. It is long! I was using a new driver as well, but I was getting 8- 10 yards more total distance with that combo. It is a firm ball, but feels good off the face( softer than the X LS of previous generations). Approach shots had a nice mid trajectory and spun more than I thought on very firm greens. Around the green, the ball is predictable: it rolls out when you want it and checks when you want it. Firm greens did have a teeny bit more run out. Feel off the putter is firm. Overall a great ball if you struggle with spin or too high launch.

I 've played the CT and CTX over the past year as my gamers. Had a feeling there was something between these two that would be a perfect ball for me. Well, they did it with the Chrome Tour Triple Diamond! I think it's the perfect blend from green to tee with spin, feel, flight, and launch for my game. Took a flyer with a dozen, then stocked up after I saw how good they are. I played a round using a Taylormade Tour Response with a fat blue stripe, and struggled on front 9. One of the guys in the foursome said `` that ball is making me dizzy '' when I was putting it. So on the back 9 I switched to the Chrome Soft Practice. Felt so smooth off the putter I thought this ball is made for me. Shot my best 9 ever. Bright white too- easy to see. I love them.
