I do n't think the other reviewers played this golf ball because it is an excellent overall ball. I have a ball speed between 150 to 165 mph and this ball is 3 to 5 yards longer than my current ProV1. The ball tracks true in head and side winds and has an excellent, high flight that I love. Around the greens the ball checks easily on really short chips but also stops with a yard or two of roll out when I attack the pin. The feel is outstanding from tee to green. I think people are reacting to a price point without ever playing the ball. If you care about improving your game buying good equipment is an investment, not a cost. Dropping strokes off my scorecard is important to me and the LA Golf Ball helped me do that. I think it is worth every penny.

Great ball, I do n't think the people that gave this ball a negative review actually played the ball. This ball does a lot of great things! I am amazed at how well they made this. The only draw back is the price tag vs the prov1x 1) Great durability hitting trees, cart path or sand did n't effect the cover at all. 2) spins great on greens. Can check just as good as prov1x 3) feels good off the putter. 4) I felt the ball was more forgiving off the tee with the driver than prox1x 5) better distance with Irons than prov1x. 6) I flight higher ball flight than prov1x. 7) felts about the same in ball flight as prov1x

Great ball. Feels like a pv1x off the tee and pv1 on the green. Worth it imo.
5
I love these balls. Great distance. A lot of spin on the greens… The only drawback I feel is one the price… They are the most expensive ball out there right now. And then I do feel they scuff and Mark up easily.. I don ’ t think they ’ re quite as resilient as some other balls. But I love them and I ’ ve played them for several rounds. It may be hard to step away from them.

The Mizuno Pro X Golf Balls deliver impressive distance and control. With advanced core technology, they provide great distance off the tee while maintaining accuracy and spin. The urethane cover offers excellent greenside control, giving you confidence with approach shots and chips. Durability is another strong point, as the cover holds up well over multiple rounds. With a consistent ball flight, even in windy conditions, the Pro X is a solid choice for golfers looking for a high- performance ball that balances power and precision. H — highlycommended.

Went in to get the typical Prov- 1 as everyone would does. And I was given a Mizuno ball from a friend to hit and was surprised how it played and felt. Went to Golf Galaxy a week later and they had a buy two get one free deal. The cost of this ball from the Prov- 1 was a$ 2 dollar per dozen difference. And with the get one Dozen free deal it was a no brainer. That being said I truly feel like these are right up there with the Prov's, TPX's, and Callaway golf balls. I have read a lot about Mizuno and they are getting 100% back in the golf game

I 've used a number of golf balls in my golfing career usually opting for the cheaper ones. I 'm a high single digit index and that has worked for me for quite a while. I decided to try these as they are a step up from what I normally use not expecting much difference. I was surprised. I like the soft feel and I do n't feel like I 've lost any distance( over the Velocity's). The added benefit is that I 'm getting more spin now. Of course that means I have to learn how to control and use that spin.

I got my hand a prototype of these balls and wow they are better then expected. I ’ ve been a Chrome soft and Chrome soft+ fanatic since day one but these balls go far and tend to go farther and play better on iron shots.
5
Jlew
Was fortunate enough to get my hands on these a bit early and put them in play the last couple of months. Great addition to the Chrome Tour lineup as it seems to perform a bit better for my swing than the CT did last year. Has helped immensely off the driver by reducing spin, while still giving me the greenside spin I need.
5
Dougie
I 've played the CT and CTX over the past year as my gamers. Had a feeling there was something between these two that would be a perfect ball for me. Well, they did it with the Chrome Tour Triple Diamond! I think it's the perfect blend from green to tee with spin, feel, flight, and launch for my game. It just reacts so well and checks all the boxes off every club in the bag. Green, greenside, approach, and from the tee box these balls have it all. Have been playing them since December of last year and there is nothing negative I can say about them! Ca n't wait for this season to open up and help me enjoy the game more and lower the scores! Well done Callaway!
5
cruskater31
Unbelievable balls. The Chrome Tour TD spins less than CT and CTX off the driver and stays remarkably straight down range. It is long! I was using a new driver as well, but I was getting 8- 10 yards more total distance with that combo. It is a firm ball, but feels good off the face( softer than the X LS of previous generations). Approach shots had a nice mid trajectory and spun more than I thought on very firm greens. Around the green, the ball is predictable: it rolls out when you want it and checks when you want it. Firm greens did have a teeny bit more run out. Feel off the putter is firm. Overall a great ball if you struggle with spin or too high launch.
5
TyNRYC
I played the Chrome Tour last year and I loved that ball but the spin rates on trackman were just a little high. The new Chrome Tour triple diamond is fantastic! I am now hitting the numbers that I am looking for and I can not wait for this tournament season to begin. Great job Team Callaway!!

I found a Callaway Chrome Tour X a few weeks ago, and decided to play it on the next hole. WOW! These balls jump off the face of all clubs like lightning! I bought the bulk pack which should last me the rest of the season. I played ProV1x before and can say the Chrome Tour X surpasses the ProV1x by miles! Ball speed( on GC Quad) increased by 15mph. Absolutely the best ball I 've hit in a long time! And the plus with the bulk pack, you get 1 dozen FREE!!!

Titleist quality with consistent performance. I find good results with these especially on windy days and they fly lower. They do n't spin as much on the green as a ProV1, but I do n't spin it back enough for it to affect my game enough for it to matter compared to the other benefits.

Hands down best value in a golf ball. I 've struggled to find a decent priced ball with performance ever since ProV1 practice balls disappeared from retail. Find the right fit, you wo n't regret it!

I love this ball and used to get the older version. This newer version performs better for me off the tee being longer and straighter. The only issue is the price used to make it a deal compared to the# 1 ball on tour, but now it is only a couple of dollars cheaper per dozen. 5 stars for the ball itself not accounting for price.

When selecting professional golf balls, consider features such as compression, spin rate, and cover material. Higher compression balls typically offer more distance and control, while lower compression options provide a softer feel. Additionally, the cover material can affect durability and greenside performance, so it's important to choose one that aligns with your playing style.
Professional golf balls are designed with advanced technology to enhance performance, offering better control, distance, and feel. They often have multi-layer constructions that provide specific benefits such as increased spin or reduced drag. In contrast, recreational golf balls may prioritize affordability and general playability over specialized performance features.
Ball compression affects how the golf ball reacts upon impact with the clubface. Higher compression balls are typically suited for players with faster swing speeds, as they can maximize distance and control. Conversely, lower compression balls are ideal for slower swing speeds, providing a softer feel and greater forgiveness.
Yes, the type of golf ball can significantly impact your game performance. Different balls are engineered for various playing styles, swing speeds, and conditions. Choosing the right ball can enhance your distance, accuracy, and overall feel, allowing you to perform at your best on the course.
Yes, certain golf balls are better suited for specific weather conditions. For example, balls designed for wet conditions often have softer covers to enhance grip and control on slick surfaces. In contrast, firmer balls may perform better in dry, windy conditions due to their reduced spin and increased stability.
