Tried the S ball recently. Usually play the Tour X. Both are great, but wanted to try the lower spin S to find more fairways with the driver. I do feel like I have found more fairways but a bit shorter than the X. Really just need to find you best fit. All the Maxfli Tour balls are great. Check out MyGolfSpy. com ball lab for confirmation.

Recently in a trackman simulator tested 2023 Maxfli Tour, 2025 Pro V1 and 2025 Maxfli Tour S. The 2025 S almost as soft as the Pro V1. Carry and ball speed better than the Maxfli Tour 2023 and on par with with the Pro V1. 66 years old, driver swing speed 92 mph. Maxfli Tour S is perfect. However, very disappointed they removed the dot for 2025. Bad move. Bad decision. That was iconic for the Maxfli. However, the Maxfli Tour S the performance and cost is the perfect ball.

I 've used a number of golf balls in my golfing career usually opting for the cheaper ones. I 'm a high single digit index and that has worked for me for quite a while. I decided to try these as they are a step up from what I normally use not expecting much difference. I was surprised. I like the soft feel and I do n't feel like I 've lost any distance( over the Velocity's). The added benefit is that I 'm getting more spin now. I 've used these for the last 4- 5 full rounds, plus a lot of putter practice and testing. I can objectively say based on some on- course testing and some putting green testing that my strokes- gained is better for both ball- striking and putting with this ball over the 2023 Pro V1( yellow) or the regular 2023 yellow Maxfli Tour. My driving is better, wedges are better, and most importantly for my overall scoring based on how I 've played the last year, my iron play with these is vastly improved. I have worn these out more than I 've lost them, which is a testament to how straight they are off the tee... but by wearing them out, I mean that after I play 18 holes with them, I 'm still getting more use out of a ball as a simulator ball, putting green ball, etc.

Recently upgraded my golf ball from TM Tour Response to the new TP5x. Man, what a difference. I am a mid- handicapper( 10. 5) and felt I needed to upgrade a few things and see if I could lower my scores to eventually break 80. Purchased the new balls, went to my local course, had a great warm up, and headed over to the first tee. On my very first day playing with this ball and on the very first hole, a par 4 at 282 yards, playing from the white tees, I flushed my driver and drove the green! Wow! First time, I 've ever done that. I usually hit 250- 265 with my driver. Not this day. I can only attribute the new distance to a good solid hit on a superior golf ball. The compression was notable. I will continue playing this ball and see if I could hit my new lower score target....

Unbelievable balls. The Chrome Tour TD spins less than CT and CTX off the driver and stays remarkably straight down range. It is long! I was using a new driver as well, but I was getting 8- 10 yards more total distance with that combo. It is a firm ball, but feels good off the face( softer than the X LS of previous generations). Approach shots had a nice mid trajectory and spun more than I thought on very firm greens. Around the green, the ball is predictable: it rolls out when you want it and checks when you want it. Firm greens did have a teeny bit more run out. Feel off the putter is firm. Overall a great ball if you struggle with spin or too high launch.

I recently purchased the Callaway Chrome Soft golf balls from Golf Galaxy, and I ’ ve really enjoyed playing with them. The feel of these balls is amazing, especially around the greens, where they provide excellent feedback and control. They also feel great off the putter, which is a big plus for me. While I didn ’ t notice significant improvements in distance compared to other golf balls I ’ ve used, the Chrome Soft delivers on its promise of low spin and consistent performance. I switched from the ProV1X to the Chrome Tour this winter and spring. Definitely noticed there is less spin on my drives, allowing for more consistency and distance. Even better when playing in windy conditions. The Chrome Tours still provides plenty of spin coming onto the greens. I like the fact that when playing from tight lies, the Tours back up generally 5ft to 10ft vs 10ft to 20ft with the ProV1X. The Tours fit my game best!

Honestly, this is my all time favorite golf ball. The Chrome Tour golf ball is a real game- changer. First off, the distance is amazing. Whether I 'm using a driver or my longer irons, it seems to just fly – consistently long, with a nice, piercing ball flight that cuts through the wind. I ’ ve noticed extra yards off the tee, and I can count on a solid roll when it hits the fairway. Also, this ball spins a lot on short irons into the green. The workability is another highlight. The ball feels responsive, and I can shape my shots with ease. Whether I ’ m trying to hit a fade or a draw, I have full control. It just feels great in my hands, especially when I 'm making those more touchy shots under pressure. But what really impresses me is the short game spin. Around the greens, it ’s fantastic. I can get my chips and pitches to check up quickly, even on firmer greens. The ball just grabs and holds, which gives me a ton of confidence when I ’ m trying to stop a wedge shot close to the hole. The biggest thing I noticed was how it spins on the greens from flop shots. I like to hit lop shots, and this ball execedds my expatitions for spin on flop shots. Started playing Callaway balls with the Chrome Soft XLS a few years ago, and loved the low spin performance off the tee. I 'd say it gave me 10- 15 yards less left/right dispersion on mishits, compared to other premium golf balls on the market at the time. Being a high speed/high spin player( 5 handicap, 175 ball speed), keeping the ball straight off the tee is my biggest lever for scoring well. However, CS XLS was definitely on the firm side of feel, and I was hoping for a softer version. Chrome Tour is absolutely the answer!!! My gamer has been the ProV1x primarily for its spin and higher flight. However after reviewing several reviews of the Chrome Tour X, I decided to give the ball a try. Glad I did, the Chrome Tour X has been a great ball for me thus far( 8 rounds). Great feel off the putter and spins well around the green. Approach shots have been great with the ability to shape the shot. Ball flight is also to my preference hitting the window I like to give me confidence in my shot. Off the tee the ball has great distance. So far I have had a great experience with the new Chrome Tour X; out of bunkers I haven ’ t noted any more scuffs as compared to the ProV1x. I will say that this is Callaway ’s best ball design as of yet, well done!

Hard to beat that kind of service. If you have a slower swing speed, under 90mph( mine is 84) the experts all agree don ’ t waste your money on expensive, well advertised balls. You will hit a cheap, 2 piece golf ball( like theTM Distance+) much farther than any Pro V or comparable model. This is the most consistent, inexpensive, 2 piece I have found. By a lot. If you ’ re a regular golfer, not the guys on tv, and you ’ ve been using the expensive balls the pros use you will be absolutely amazed how much farther you hit a 2 piece ball

I have been an Uther golf bqll user now for almost 2 years but primarily with the Tour Icon. This last order I tried the Pro Icon and noticed a measurable difference for the better. The ball still hit longer than any other ball I have used but had a noticeably softer feel for short game performance and putting. The first game with them I had 4 birdies and the next round 3 and shot a 79 for the first time in 3 years. Recently upgraded my golf ball from TM Tour Response to the new TP5x. Man, what a difference. I am a mid- handicapper( 10. 5) and felt I needed to upgrade a few things and see if I could lower my scores to eventually break 80. Purchased the new balls, went to my local course, had a great warm up, and headed over to the first tee. On my very first day playing with this ball and on the very first hole, a par 4 at 282 yards, playing from the white tees, I flushed my driver and drove the green! Wow! First time, I 've ever done that. I usually hit 250- 265 with my driver. Not this day. I can only attribute the new distance to a good solid hit on a superior golf ball. The compression was notable. I will continue playing this ball and see if I could hit my new lower score target....
