Amazing ball for the price. This is my first time playing a urethane ball regularly, used to play Vice Tour. I immediately noticed the difference on approach shots and greenside. I have now played the new version of this ball for 6 rounds and I 've been playing Tour X for 4 years. This new ball feels about the same on long shots( firm), but noticeable softer pitches, chips and especially putts. I am a senior golfer with moderate clubhead speed( 95 to 99 mph). I got these in yesterday and instantly went to the course. This is by far the straightest ball of the tee I have ever hit. Pretty much instantly got rid of a big slice or pull. If you are like me and swing pretty hard with your driver but have trouble hitting the fairways, this is the go to ball for you. With the higher compression, it makes it easier to hit it a lot further off the tee. It is also super easy to align on the greens with new alignment aid. The spin was above average I would say, I held greens pretty easily with full wedge shots. Overall this ball is a must buy if you want something cheap and lose a lot of balls.

I would n't have believed it in a million years had it not just happened to me today. My son and his friend play this ball and they are always 50 yards ahead of me. Granted, I 'm a 50 year old Marine vet, with back issues, but I can still rip it out there between 280- 300 yards. I 've been playing a popular DTC brand golf ball and thought I would give these Chrome Tours a try, since it was buy 3 get 1 free, and I get the military discount. I got to play them today and OMG I will NEVER play another ball again. I really ca n't believe what a difference these made. My drives were going 335 yards today, into the wind, and even got one 385 yards with the wind. I had to club down by almost 2 clubs with all my irons. It took me half a round to get used to the new distance and trust it. I ended up shooting par on the back 9 and now I 'm driving the ball right there with my 27 year old son and his friend. I switched from the ProV1X to the Chrome Tour this winter and spring. Definitely noticed there is less spin on my drives, allowing for more consistency and distance. Even better when playing in windy conditions. The Chrome Tours still provides plenty of spin coming onto the greens. I like the fact that when playing from tight lies, the Tours back up generally 5ft to 10ft vs 10ft to 20ft with the ProV1X. The Tours fit my game best!

Honestly, this is my all time favorite golf ball. The Chrome Tour golf ball is a real game- changer. First off, the distance is amazing. Whether I 'm using a driver or my longer irons, it seems to just fly – consistently long, with a nice, piercing ball flight that cuts through the wind. I ’ ve noticed extra yards off the tee, and I can count on a solid roll when it hits the fairway. Also, this ball spins a lot on short irons into the green. The workability is another highlight. The ball feels responsive, and I can shape my shots with ease. Whether I ’ m trying to hit a fade or a draw, I have full control. It just feels great in my hands, especially when I 'm making those more touchy shots under pressure. But what really impresses me is the short game spin. Around the greens, it ’s fantastic. I can get my chips and pitches to check up quickly, even on firmer greens. The ball just grabs and holds, which gives me a ton of confidence when I ’ m trying to stop a wedge shot close to the hole. Firstly I love the TP5. I am a high launch/high spin player. The X just flew too high for me into the wind. I find that I get a bit lower launch with the TP5 and is easier for me to control the spin with. Durability is also pretty darn good for a tour ball( barring cart path, rocks, or trees- you could play the same ball a second round). I love the stripe! It helps me with putting AND lining up on tee shots. I only wish they offered the colors for the stripe like they do on the Response. But for those color averse- the blackish grey of this stripe isn ’ t distracting and very useful.

Glad I did, the Chrome Tour X has been a great ball for me thus far( 8 rounds). Great feel off the putter and spins well around the green. Approach shots have been great with the ability to shape the shot. Ball flight is also to my preference hitting the window I like to give me confidence in my shot. Off the tee the ball has great distance. So far I have had a great experience with the new Chrome Tour X; out of bunkers I haven ’ t noted any more scuffs as compared to the ProV1x. These are incredible! They are TP5s so they are automatically amazing! But now they have a tracker that my Sim picks up beautifully! I have always had to get pro VI RCT, so it ’s nice that Taylor made has this option now. I think it ’s a much better ball and I am seeing consistent results in the sim.

I ’ ve been experimenting with golf balls over the past several months and this is a clear winner. I use the yellow balls and I love the ability to locate my ball much easier. Also, the 360 track is the only way to go. Makes my putting alignment so much easier and as a result I am holing more puts. I highly recommend!
