I do n't think the other reviewers played this golf ball because it is an excellent overall ball. I have a ball speed between 150 to 165 mph and this ball is 3 to 5 yards longer than my current ProV1. The ball tracks true in head and side winds and has an excellent, high flight that I love. Around the greens the ball checks easily on really short chips but also stops with a yard or two of roll out when I attack the pin. The feel is outstanding from tee to green. I think people are reacting to a price point without ever playing the ball. If you care about improving your game buying good equipment is an investment, not a cost. Dropping strokes off my scorecard is important to me and the LA Golf Ball helped me do that. I think it is worth every penny.

Great ball, I do n't think the people that gave this ball a negative review actually played the ball. This ball does a lot of great things! I am amazed at how well they made this. The only draw back is the price tag vs the prov1x 1) Great durability hitting trees, cart path or sand did n't effect the cover at all. 2) spins great on greens. Can check just as good as prov1x 3) feels good off the putter. 4) I felt the ball was more forgiving off the tee with the driver than prox1x 5) better distance with Irons than prov1x. 6) I flight higher ball flight than prov1x. 7) felts about the same in ball flight as prov1x

Great ball. Feels like a pv1x off the tee and pv1 on the green. Worth it imo.

I love these balls. Great distance. A lot of spin on the greens… The only drawback I feel is one the price… They are the most expensive ball out there right now. And then I do feel they scuff and Mark up easily.. I don ’ t think they ’ re quite as resilient as some other balls. But I love them and I ’ ve played them for several rounds. It may be hard to step away from them.

I am loving the Taylor Made golf ball. The TP5's are a little too expensive for me; so, I went with the Distance+ balls. A big difference in how long and straight I hit the ball. I used to play with a Kirkland ball( I was told it is built similar to a ProV1. The TaylorMade ball is so much better.

A Glowing Review: The Superfast Yellow Golf Ball- Distance and Feel Combined! Having spent ample time on the links with the Superfast Yellow golf ball, I can confidently say it's a game- changer for golfers seeking both explosive distance and nuanced feel around the greens. This is n't just another pretty face in a vibrant yellow hue; it delivers on its promises. Distance off the Driver: True to its Name – Superfast! From the moment you tee up the Superfast, you can feel the potential. The ball lives up to its name, launching off the driver with incredible speed. I consistently found myself picking up extra yardage, translating into shorter irons into greens and more aggressive lines off the tee. The Hyper Elastic Soft Fast Core truly seems to work its magic, transferring maximum energy into the ball for those satisfying, long drives. Even on mishits, the ball seemed to hold its line well, resisting excessive slice or hook thanks to its optimized HEX Aerodynamics that reduce drag and enhance lift. If you 're looking to add some serious firepower to your long game, this ball is a definite contender. Feel Around the Greens: Surprisingly Soft and Responsive What often surprises players with `` distance '' balls is a trade- off in feel, particularly around the greens. However, the Superfast Yellow defies this expectation. Despite its emphasis on speed, it offers a remarkably soft and responsive feel on chip shots, pitches, and putts. The multi- material Hybrid Cover truly shines here, providing excellent greenside control. I found it easy to generate the desired spin on delicate chip shots, allowing the ball to check up nicely near the pin. Putting with the Superfast Yellow felt consistent and controlled, with a pleasingly soft sensation off the putter face. It does n't feel like a rock, which is a common complaint with some firmer distance balls. This combination of distance and touch is a rare find and a huge advantage for those who want to attack the flag without sacrificing their short game. Visibility: A Bright Spot on the Course Beyond performance, the bold yellow color is a fantastic feature. It's incredibly easy to track in the air, even against a bright sky, and locating it in the rough or shaded areas is a breeze. No more squinting or lost balls, which ultimately speeds up play and reduces frustration. Overall Impression: The Superfast Yellow golf ball is an excellent choice for golfers who prioritize long, straight drives but refuse to compromise on feel and control around the greens. It's a versatile ball that truly enhances your game from tee to green. Its vibrant color is an added bonus, making it a joy to play with. If you 're looking to add some serious pop to your drives and maintain a delicate touch for your short game, give the Superfast Yellow a try – you wo n't be disappointed!

When selecting long drive balls, consider features such as compression rating, cover material, and core construction. A lower compression rating can help maximize distance for slower swing speeds, while a firmer cover can enhance durability and control. Additionally, look for balls designed to reduce spin, which can contribute to longer drives.
Long drive balls are specifically engineered to maximize distance, often featuring a lower spin rate and a firmer feel compared to regular golf balls. They typically have a unique core design that promotes higher launch angles and reduced drag. Understanding these differences can help you choose the right ball for your driving needs.
While long drive balls can benefit players looking to increase their distance, they may not be ideal for every skill level. Beginners might find that standard golf balls offer better control and feel, while more experienced players can take advantage of the distance-enhancing features. It's important to assess your swing speed and playing style when choosing the right ball.
Long drive balls are typically made from a combination of synthetic materials, including urethane and ionomer covers, which provide a balance of durability and performance. The core is often made from rubber or other advanced materials designed to enhance energy transfer during impact. These materials contribute to the overall distance and feel of the ball.
Yes, weather conditions can significantly impact the performance of long drive balls. Factors such as temperature, humidity, and wind can influence how the ball travels through the air. For example, warmer temperatures can increase ball distance, while strong winds may affect trajectory and stability. Being aware of these conditions can help you make better choices on the course.
