LeftyBigGuns
Honestly, I feel like these golf balls are the best value for new golfers or golfers like me, who are only slightly less than terrible. The StraightFli feature does n't really make a huge difference in the ball flight, but I do think it helps the ball fly maybe 5% straighter. Which can be the difference between landing in the tall grass or losing it in the woods. Compared to many other brands, MaxFli is the best price point for golfers like myself.

I have been playing this ball for years and I love it. It ’s a solid ball that goes a long way with both driver and irons. When I ’ m swinging well I always get my carry numbers going into greens. Whenever I try another ball I do not get the numbers I normally get with Velocity. Once you get used to how the ball reacts around the green( lobs and bump and runs) you will know how to play this ball. It ’s long and has a consistent ball flight.

I received a sample sleeve of the 2025 model. The ball performed well off the tee with driver and also off the irons on approach shots. I do n't think the other reviewers played this golf ball because it is an excellent overall ball. I have a ball speed between 150 to 165 mph and this ball is 3 to 5 yards longer than my current ProV1. The ball tracks true in head and side winds and has an excellent, high flight that I love. Around the greens the ball checks easily on really short chips but also stops with a yard or two of roll out when I attack the pin. The feel is outstanding from tee to green. I think people are reacting to a price point without ever playing the ball. If you care about improving your game buying good equipment is an investment, not a cost. Dropping strokes off my scorecard is important to me and the LA Golf Ball helped me do that. I think it is worth every penny.
5
Ocgolf
Great ball, I do n't think the people that gave this ball a negative review actually played the ball. This ball does a lot of great things! I am amazed at how well they made this. The only draw back is the price tag vs the prov1x 1) Great durability hitting trees, cart path or sand did n't effect the cover at all. 2) spins great on greens. Can check just as good as prov1x 3) feels good off the putter. 4) I felt the ball was more forgiving off the tee with the driver than prox1x 5) better distance with Irons than prov1x. 6) I flight higher ball flight than prov1x. 7) felts about the same in ball flight as prov1x

5
nealg08
Great ball. Feels like a pv1x off the tee and pv1 on the green. Worth it imo.
5
I love these balls. Great distance. A lot of spin on the greens… The only drawback I feel is one the price… They are the most expensive ball out there right now. And then I do feel they scuff and Mark up easily.. I don ’ t think they ’ re quite as resilient as some other balls. But I love them and I ’ ve played them for several rounds. It may be hard to step away from them.

I ’ ve been playing the super soft for about 3 years( switching from a Pro V1); and have found they are much easier to control on the fairway and around the green. They are very workable: draw or fade and spin with ease. Plenty long off the tee as well; often out driving my Titleist partners.

Not only isis a great ball but has to be one of the best bang for your buck. Also pretty durable
When selecting long distance golf balls, consider features such as the core construction, which can influence energy transfer and overall distance. Look for a low compression rating, as this can help maximize distance for players with slower swing speeds. Additionally, the cover material can affect durability and feel, with options ranging from softer covers for better control to firmer ones for increased distance. Lastly, consider the ball's aerodynamic design, as it can enhance flight stability and reduce drag for longer shots.
Long distance golf balls are designed to maximize distance and reduce drag during flight, often featuring a firmer core and a smoother cover. This construction allows for greater energy transfer upon impact, resulting in longer shots. In contrast, regular golf balls may prioritize feel and control around the greens, which can affect their distance performance. Many players choose long distance options to enhance their game, especially on longer courses.
Long distance golf balls are typically made from a combination of materials designed to enhance performance and distance. The core is often constructed from rubber or a similar synthetic material, which provides energy transfer during impact. The outer cover is usually made from ionomer or urethane, offering durability and a softer feel. These materials work together to optimize flight and distance while maintaining control and spin.
Long distance golf balls are designed to enhance distance and performance, making them suitable for a variety of skill levels. Beginners may benefit from the added distance, while more experienced players can appreciate the consistency and control these balls offer. However, individual preferences and playing styles can influence whether a specific type of long distance ball is the right choice for a golfer. It's often helpful to try different options to find the best fit for your game.
Several factors influence the distance a golf ball can travel, including the ball's construction, compression, and dimple pattern. The materials used in the core and cover can affect how the ball interacts with the clubface at impact. Additionally, the player's swing speed and angle of attack play a crucial role in maximizing distance. Environmental conditions, such as wind and altitude, can also impact how far a ball travels.
Weather conditions can significantly affect the performance of long distance golf balls. For instance, colder temperatures can lead to a decrease in ball compression, resulting in reduced distance. Wind can also play a crucial role; a strong headwind may hinder the ball's flight, while a tailwind can enhance distance. Additionally, humidity and altitude can influence how far the ball travels, with higher altitudes generally allowing for longer distances due to thinner air.
Long distance golf balls typically have a compression rating that ranges from low to medium, often between 70 and 90. This compression level is designed to provide a balance of distance and control, allowing players to achieve greater distance while still maintaining a good feel during play. Many golfers prefer these ratings as they can help optimize performance based on swing speed and playing style.
Long distance golf balls are designed to enhance distance and provide a more efficient flight path, which can contribute to improved performance on the course. Many players find that these balls help them achieve greater distance off the tee, allowing for shorter approach shots and potentially lowering their scores. Additionally, the construction of long distance golf balls often offers a balance of durability and feel, which can enhance overall playability. However, individual results may vary based on a player's skill level and swing characteristics.
When selecting long distance golf balls, consider your swing speed and playing style. Golf balls designed for distance typically have a firmer feel and lower spin rates, which can benefit players with faster swings. Additionally, look for balls that offer a balance between distance and control, as this can enhance your overall performance on the course. Testing different options can help you find the right match for your game.
