My grip kept creeping too weak. I saw that Scottie Scheffler uses a grip on a practice 7 iron that serves the same purpose as this. I did n't want to use a permanent grip so I thought I 'd give this a try. The results were almost instantaneous. It felt very odd at first to have a stronger grip but my flight was immediately better and I could n't be happier with how much this simple training aid has helped.

The Gold Flex is a great training tool. With that being said, I wanted the 48 '' version. Unfortunately you can only get the 40 '' version from Dicks. It works great for women or juniors. It also works well if you are swinging indoors. I just wanted the longer one to take out on the course with me. The Dicks staff was very good. They did n't hassle me at all when I returned the product. Over all, I would say it is a great product to buy. Do n't be fooled by the hype of the `` Orange Whip ''. This is just as good with less of a price tag.

This is my second one( my son liked it so much that it ended up in his bag). Great way to warm up on the 1st tee. It not only works well for loosening up, but it also helps to groove a swing and develop tempo. The reminder grip also helps to develop the proper hand position. This also works great when you ca n't get to the range; it's the next best thing to shagging balls.

I bought this product on a recomendation from a swing coach. I have found that my grip is stronger and my swing plain has improved, with just 25 reps a day. I have gained about 10 yards with my driver mostly with the ball flight improvement. I expect my shots to be consistant with time.

This product works as intended. And it's well made; a quality product. Cons: Somewhat expensive. Competing products with similar attributes are available at lower prices. This is a wonderful training tool, but you will be paying a `` premium over full retail '' if you simply want to correct your grip and swing tempo. There's a certain `` pride of ownership '' with this product that offers some justification for the premium. However, that added expense is not for everyone-- especially the cost- conscious consumer.
